Inter Milan will continue with their trusted 3-5-2 system despite the injury absence of Marcus Thuram, with head coach Cristian Chivu ready to hand a chance to youngsters Ange-Yoan Bonny and Pio Esposito in the Frenchman’s absence.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the French striker is not expected back until the end of October.

Therefore, Napoli-Inter is seen as the target match for his return.

Head coach Cristian Chivu will not rip up his tactical plan.

However, he will instead place his faith in the club’s emerging forwards.

Bonny is set to partner Lautaro Martinez from the start against Cremonese, while Pio Esposito remains an important option from the bench.

The French forward has already shown a sharp instinct in front of goal.

Meanwhile, Esposito is proving his worth step by step.

He scored a debut strike against River Plate at the Club World Cup this summer.

More recently, he scored his first Serie A goal away to Cagliari last week.

The rotation between the two youngsters is seen as a strength.

Therefore, Chivu is ready to continue alternating them while Thuram recovers.

Probable Inter XI (3-5-2): Sommer; Akanji, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto; Bonny, Lautaro.
