Sky journalist Luca Marchetti had some interesting words in his column for Tuttomercatoweb. He expects Walter Mazzarri to remain on the bench with or without Europe. Inter’s focus is already on the market and they are preparing transfers to back Mazzarri. A top striker and a midfielder. A surprise signing could be that of Tom Ince, a low cost option whose transfer could suit all parties.

I lost all hope in Mazzari. Not especially because of the results or the formation, but for failing to inspire the team. You see Mourinho, he bonds with the team, celebrates with them, congratulates them when they get a job done well. He really motivates the players. Mazzari on the other hand gives no motivation, you could see in the derby, how everyone lacked some inspiration, he never congratulates the team or show any other form of emotion than anger. He never celebrate when the players do a job well and he is never happy with them. The only thing he shows his anger when they make a mistake. No wonder they don’t beleive in him and get motivated.
Agree with you
The thing is, he was never like that with Napoli. I always remember him at the sidelines shouting his lungs out at Hamsik. I don’t know what happened but I think we broke Mazzari. Nonetheless, I would like to see him staying another year cuz one season is never enough for any coach. If Thohir chooses to give the boot however, I would love for Spalletti to take the helm.
Showing emotions, celebtration (when the team scores) or not, it doesnt matter, what matters is what they do in training. Everyone is different, hes not mourinho, hes just being himself. You cant just tell him to change his behaviour in a match. Its just his way of coaching, hes a tough coach and a good one. I want to keep him for 1 more season at inter and we’ll see how it goes.
How do you mean the transfer of Tom Ince could suit all parties? He is leaving Blackpool this summer we know, but I’m not sure why Inter want a player who was only making the bench for a team that finished mid-table in the EPL. Not sure he’s who they should be looking for as first choice and if he’s not, why would he join Inter?
