The Dutchman has proven his importance to Cristian Chivu’s side, as Inter have dropped points in both matches since the international break without him.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, Dumfries is expected to be available in time for the Champions League showdown against Liverpool on December 9.

However, the coaching staff will continue to monitor his recovery carefully.
