Inter Milan and Juventus are reportedly locked in a transfer battle to secure Hellas Verona wingback Rafik Belghali.

According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira via FCInterNews, Belghali could be a subject of an intense transfer tug-of-war in January.

Inter Milan are in the market for a new wingback, as Denzel Dumfries faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Indeed, the Dutch star will soon undergo ankle surgery, which could rule him out for at least two months.

Meanwhile, Luis Henrique has fallen short of expectations since swapping Marseille for San Siro in the summer.

Belghali has enjoyed a superb first half of the season in Serie A, nailing down a starting berth at Marc’Antonio Bentegodi as his own.

Furthermore, the 23-year-old has tallied two goals in 15 league appearances for the Gialloblu.
