Inter Milan have contacted the representatives of Giovane, but a January move for the Verona attacker does not appear likely at this stage.

According to Sportitalia, Inter believe they are well covered in attack for the remainder of the season.

The club therefore do not plan major reinforcements in the forward department during the winter window.

Despite that stance, Inter continue to monitor the market.

Giovane, who currently plays for Hellas Verona, has emerged as a profile of interest for the future.

The Nerazzurri have already opened lines of communication with his agents, even if talks remain at an early stage.

At present, Giovane is not viewed as a priority target for January.

Inter are instead gathering information and assessing his development before making any concrete move.

The club are also aware of outside interest.

Other teams have made enquiries, which could increase competition in the coming months.

For now, any potential transfer looks more realistic beyond January, as Inter focus on squad balance and long-term planning rather than immediate changes.
