Fernando Torres

The Nerazzuri are set for a big summer revamp and a striker to partner Rodrigo Palacio up front seems to be on top of their list. Palacio was the only Inter player to hit double figures last season and president Erick Thohir has made it his priority to bring in another forward. Edin Dzeko, Alvaro Negredo and Roberto Soldado have all been linked to Inter previously. But now it seems like he has set his sights on Chelsea’s Fernando Torres and intends to come to London to begin talks this weekend.

Torres struggle since his January 2011 move to Stamford Bridge have been well documented and this year he once again failed to prove his critics wrong. Just five goals in 29 appearances seems insufficient for Blues manager Jose Mourinho to want to keep him around.
