Cambiasso set for River Plate

Inter midfielder Esteban Cambiasso is said to be in negotiations for a return to Argentina to play with River Plate. Cambiasso will be a free agent from next month, as Inter did not offer him a contract renewal after 10 years at the club. According to El Grafico, Cambiasso is already in advanced talks to join River Plate. It is believed he could put pen to paper as early as next week.

Cambiasso played one season for River back in 2001/02 before he came to Europe and Madrid.
