Osvaldo isn’t a bad player, but for his lack of discipline. But I think he’s too expensive for us, and I expect he could end up on another loan at Juventus.
Negredo we simply cannot afford. Manchester City usually overprice their players, because they spend so lavishly when buying them in the first place. Also, their huge wages make for a trap for clubs like Inter, who cannot afford the same luxuries, and it is psychologically difficult for the player to have to take a pay cut when he needs to leave City. Negredo had a very good first half of the season, so I doubt Pellegrini will want to sell him so easily.
I don’t think we can be sure Lamela is for sale. He is a huge talent, and Tottenham are changing coaches, so the one who comes next might just like him. Not to mention the price we would have to pay, and we have so many positions to cover for next season.
Torres is possible, but I simply don’t want it to happen. We need clinical strikers who can score an abundance of goals every season. Torres is a hard working striker now, but his goalscoring capabilities have surely diminished, and I don’t expect he will come cheap either.
