A great player he is but his style is not Inter style unless the formation changes because all season long we didn’t play with second striker unless WM is thinking to do his Napoli style with Inter but yet again Lamela is no Lavezzi in term of scoring and Lamela stop the ball a lot to skillshowup and we don’t need that we need more speed I would say Rossi or Cerci will do greater good for us

Inter cant afford any big players and big blayers dont want to come to inter until we qualify for Champions League. So we can forget about Luis Gustavo (€30 million). Behrami is the most realistic target around €6-8 million. WM knows him well. Inter have already reached a deal with him. Ince is a done deal. Lamela is the next target. Probably offer Guarin plus money. Or sell Guarin and then buy Lamela.
I see and in kind of way disagree with most of fans here, writing about Inter budget capacity of making transfers big caliber like Lamela, Gustavo ect .. I personally admire Thohir’s politics, he has a vision and knows what & where he wants Inter to be for couple of years .. I think with these strategy money are not problem for Inter to make big transfers, but if the board feels that a any player would be very good addition in certain ways, with no doubt we can get him (Hernanes case 18M) .. so I think it would not be problem for Lamla or Gustavo. If we sell Alvarez 12-15M + 10M =23-25M, he’s our .. same with Gustavo, selling Guarin 15M + 7-8M we can bring him. I personally think money are not such a big problem with Thohir, but he is carefull about transfer policy, not a Moratti style, spending like a crazy and we see THE END of he’s politics .. we need to be patient .. Forza ..

who is going to pay 12-15 mill for Alvarez ? Inter sold Coutinho for 10 mill and he’s a better player than Alvarez. Going by that logic, inter will get 8-10 mill for Alvarez

D’Ambrosio over Jonathan for a full back as he’s a better defender, whereas it’s a bit more balanced for wing back due to johnnies offense. Maybe Rolando/Rano for JJ who could play left back instead of Naga. This is a much more solid looking backline:

I’m sure Inter would like Lamela, but I don’t think they’ll be getting him…most Spurs fans still believe Lamela can be a star player for us, and so does Baldini. He isn’t getting abuse from 90% of fans who want to give him time. Plus Inter can’t offer champions league football, and probably offer similar wages. I can’t see him leaving this summer.
May I just pour a little bit of ice water on your enthusiasm, as the only way Levy is going to sell Lamela to Thohir is if he can get back the 30mm pounds he paid for him. If Thohir is willing to meet that price than for sure you have a chance of getting Lamela, otherwise, my guess is Lamela will be given another shot to prove what he can do in the EPL under a new Spurs manager (as yet to be named but likely either Pochetino or de Boer).
This is great news, my second favourite formation after 4-3-1-2.
