River Plate to talk to Cambiasso

River Plate President Rodolfo D’Onofrio says that he plans to hold talks with Esteban Cambiasso about signing him to River Plate. The 33 year old Argentinian has recently left Inter and is now a free agent following a 10 year spell at Inter Milan.

The defensive midfielder also played for the Argentine outfit between 2001 and 2002 and, speaking to Sport Mediaset, D’Onofrio stated his intention to take the player back to Buenos Aires. “When he comes back from holidays I will talk to him to see whether he wants to come back to River Plate. Though he might already have offers from other clubs.” D’Onofrio said.
