Ausilio and Marotta had a discussion as early as last week and they have talked again yesterday in secret. The Guarin deal is still in progress but there ais a problem: The economical part that Inter asks for. The Nerazzurri value Guarin at €18 million, while Juventus don’t want to spend more than €12 million, the same amount as the bianconeri asks for the former Parma striker (Giovinco). Ausilio hasn’t accepted this and values the striker at a lower price. A solution could be a swap between Guarin and Giovinco and 3 million that goes to Inter, then a “yes” from both clubs wouldn’t be far away…

i think he will do good at Inter and the deal is not bad either. He is better then Guarin in overal performances. He is a totally different player, but he can be used well..
This guy reminds me of Coutinho. Fast dribbler, quick moves and tricks. But Cou failed, and so will Giovinco. They will fit in BPL or La Liga, but not in Serie A. Forget about Giovinco, we do not need him.

I’d say lets this happen! I really like Giovinco. He’s the kind of player we really need. Someone who can move the ball around besides Kovacic as an Attacking midfielder (Yes, we’re lacking that since Cassano departure). If that is the real price tag, then lets do it. Guarin price is dropping since he hasn’t played for Colombia in the WC yet, and I really don’t think that situation would change soon.
Giovinco + 15 million euros for Guarin
Looks like a salary dump as giovinco only makes 1.4 million. This is a bad move IMO – going backwards. Rather take 15 m from somebody else to buy somebody we need.
