vidic would be a great captain. only problem is it’s his 1st season. the only other valid options are handanovic/palacio/hernanes. I still say i’d pick hernanes 1. he’s a starter 2. he’s familiar with serie a and been at inter near a season already 3. he’s respected by the other players. 4. he was signed in mazzari’s reign and was the first biggish name under thohir. he’s also the youngest of vidic/palacio/handanovic/hernanes and is likely to see out his contract with us./ handanovic on the other hand may leave for a good price next year and the other 2 are edging towards retirement and the bench.
by the time hernanes retires 1 of today’s youth will hopefully be ready to take the captaincy – i know some guys like kovacic. if he’s still with us then he’s a good option i imagine

Even with Vidic zero experience, serie-a is much slower compared to epl and less skills needed than la liga, it’s about the coach strategy, so as long as the coach giving clear instructions to him it’s not a big problem i guess.
