Gianluca Di Marzio gives us the breaking news just now that everything is set for Daniel Osvaldo’s move to Inter. The Italian-attacker born in 1986 will move to Inter on a free loan with the right to buy at the end of the season, for an amount that has not yet been confirmed. Inter’s Saphir Taider will move to Southampton in the opposite direction, but only on loan. The deal will be official in a few hours.

i don’t understand the ones who disagree. seriously, he’s not the best solution for us, but expect at the moment we have just icardi and palacio (maybe botta, for me hes not a striker) as forwards. so we need 3 or 4 strikers. then he’s a loan transfer, so we have the same budget for a “top”forward as before. if one get injured he could be really important. now go for a topstriker ausilio!

This deal makes no sence, hé did not perform at southampton nor at Juve, what makes anyone think it Will be any different this time arround.

Congratulations Inter – you are the official employer of a Juventus deadweight. If you wanted a Juve striker with half decent talent you should have traded Guarin for Vucinic! If you need another Juve leftover striker you can try Anelka or Bentner and let me remind you, all options listed are better than Tomasso Rocchi or John Carew !
Will be interesting to see what the actual details of the deal are. I would say that Taider would have a purchase clause for Southampton at the end of the loan as would Osvaldo for Inter. I would also imagine that we would be paying some sort of loan fee to Southampton as Osvaldo is worth more currently. I am no fan of Osvaldo and I worry about his influence on Icardi who I would rather see learn from a model professional rather than a party boy like Osvaldo but I guess we will see what happens.

i agree with you, Osvaldo is better then Chichaarito and Pato at the moment. And this is great coz that is ‘LOAN’, and if he playing bad this season we will not buy him. After Osvaldo, i exspect Medel, then we need to sell Guarin, and buy CERCI. In this team Cerci is really need. 😀

Everybody seems to be depressed about Osvaldo coming to Inter, so I’m gonna try my best to be positive:
1- He comes free, so no need to sell before buy.
2- He had decent numbers at Roma: 27 goals in 55 games.
3- He was a Mazzarri request, so he should had taken into account that he could handle him.
4- He is 28, so he has to realize that this may be his last chance at a big club.
5- If he becomes a prick, Mazzarri can easily dismiss him, its not like Inter invested more than his salary yet.

Even thou I don’t like Osvaldo, this is a great deal. Free loan with no obligation to buy, which gives us a striker who we crucially need. Taider goes to them, but only on loan with no option to buy, which is very good as well.
