I am so impressed with our transfer dealings this summer. Vidic, Dodo, M’Vila, Osvaldo, Medel added to Hernanes and D’Ambrosio from last January. We’ve added some serious quality to our side. I think Thohir possibly has one or two more surprises up his sleeve before the season starts. But I think now we have a squad who are ready to fight and bleed blue and black in each competition we’re in. I foresee a fierce and aggressive team that will be tough to beat and other teams will fear, which is exactly how it should be!!
Indeed. Also hope that many Mazzarri “anti-followers” will change their opinions about his qualities. He prefers 3-5-2/3-5-1-1, but don’t think that was of any surprise to anyone when we hired him. For this season he also have the necessary players to really perform with his favorite formation. Will be an interesting season with several teams on a somewhat similar level.
