Calm dude… Everything is the past. Mercato was closed. With our financial situation Ausilio have made a “smart” transfer but not good on technical (let botta and ricky go without any replacement). Sorry my fried. But, the Moratti model was dead. Same thing that is happening to Milan and probably the whole italian soccer with a few exceptions. The club has to be self sustainable. So far, ET has spent more than he was received for players. Rumor has it, he refused offers for Icardi and Kovacic. So, I don’t know what you mean when you say he is just making money and not investing in the club. Arsenal?? They spent a chunk of money this year signing Alexis S., D. Wellbeck (Ozil last year). The problem is the big clubs (Barcelona, Madrid, Chelsea) wasting money like they don’t care. You need to be crazy to try to compete against them. I don’t know about you, but if I were Moratti rich, I would not be spending my money to make the club win without getting any minimum returns. Maybe, you are right ET doesn’t want to spend enough money. But he seems to be a smart man with a vision, something inter lacked before. The next 1-3 years are going to be painful, but hopefully it will be for the clubs benefit. In the mean time let’s support the club buying tickets, original merchandise, and online content.

Second, when Moratti about to sell Inter, where’s all the Middle eastern billionare ? Or The Russian Billionare ? Moratti is an oil tycoon himself, he speak arab language, he’s connected to those oil rich billionare from Eastern Europe or Middle east. But those never showed interest. those people are more confident investing for a club like Monaco or PSG. Thohir is the only one with strong interest.

Moratti way needs to wait about a decade to win his first serie-a title. And all those years big spending is what sinked us down to this level.
I am with you Eroll. Even the Chinese backed off. Nobody showed interest in buying the club. We were the talking point of Europe. All the news and sports commentators were talking about how bad the club was run. The club was a real mess. We can’t forget that it was Moratti who sold Eto, Sneijeder, Thiago Motta, Couthino. We had several years of success, now lets try the more sustainable model. Can you run a soccer club like a business? For an answer lets look at Real Madrid, M.U, Bayer M. I think the biggest mistake is not signing Rolando … I cant believe how we left him hanging all summer, and then didn’t close him for 5 or 6 mil; which is an f’in steal!!

We all know how stubborn and greedy Porto are. Rolando’s contract expires in 2015 so there are high chances we will sign him for FREE. He rejected all other clubs.

I’m happy with the way it ended. Now Mazzari is forced to play Bonazzolli. This old freak refused to play Kovacic last season but when he was pressured by the fans and the press he did use him. Same should happen with Bonazzolli and M’Baye. We need to use our own youth players. They are good.
Agree. But WM is too stubborn to use youth. Bonazzoli is only 17, so I am afraid that WM won’t use him. Even Bonazzoli was not in the squad list on Inter’s web site: http://www.inter.it/en/coversquadra I think Bonazzoli and Tassi are Inter’s future.
Our attacking force is so limited at the point, even a stuborn coach like Mazzari could be forced to play a youth.
You should think about what Inzaghi said about young player. He said its important for youth player to think they’re not good enough & fans are tends to overrating. Its a harsh comment but it might be true. At Inter there’s many overhyped young player who turn out to be not so great. Player like Santon, Pasquale, Longo isn’t doing as good as the hype surround them, not even half good. At Milan there’s young Pato who’s strugling even in brazil & Giovinco hyped as italian Messi is a benchwarmers at Juve. So its better to let them grow naturally, for a team like Inter a teenagers (<20 years old) managed to play 10 game a season in a senior team is a miracle.
WM already said Guarin will play more offesive role – AM/SS. So there you go, our 4th striker.
hopefully in January, we can get the mr.X in attacking sector and management somehow realizing our lackness in winger sectors. Cuadrado is the most perfect player for the right wing, sharp, skillful, tiredless and has high defensive contribution as well. I don’t mind if we spend 20-25 m for him alone next winter.
my concern is our first team player is the best compare to post-treble team, but the subs is simply not very convincing (even lack of strikers) and unadequate. The point is we play in 3 tournament, subs is essential as the first team players need to rest as well. Not to mention, if injuries has fallen in love with our key players, we have no future then. Luckily the training coach is better now under WM since there are no severe injuries last season.
Stop dreaming of Cuadrado as Fiorentina’s asking price is 40m. That is for clubs OUTSIDE Italy. That’s how they have managed to keep him for 1 more year.
I think ausilio has done a wonderful job considering our financial conditions yet he’s able to sign several notable and impactful players this mercato. I think Inter could spent more, but Thohir prefer to keep our financial healthy for bigger investment years on. The main problem is our players is just simply not attractable for other teams, except our wonderkid, thus Ausilio has difficulty in raising cash from sales.
Indeed, this mercato felt incomplete due to failure to bring in notable name for attacking sector, but we have to deal with it. Moreover, it’s better to avoid panic buy thus there will be no more schelotto, rocchi, Silvestre, etc. better to keep money for the right investment in January. just my thought

We get Vidic for free and he’s awesome, M’Vila at a bargain price, Medel which is Chile best peformers at the world cup aside of Alexis, and also get Osvaldo very cheap (im strongly against osvaldo signing, but interget him very cheap so i can’t complain). We tied didn’t lost our most valuable assets like Icardi, Kovacic & Handanovic. Could be better, but its passable.

Yes, I agree with you. That’s why I was mad. Losing 25 year old, Italian attacking midfielder to city rival with just 7m was a huge mistake. Maybe some fans are happy to see many mediocre players are out. But keep in mind that most of them will be back to Inter when their loan deals are finished. Silvestre, Schelotto, Alvarez, and many other will be back and it will still be a problem for Ausilio to find new homes for them. Of course, it is easy to say. But Inter management should do a lot more in their transfers in order to make fans happy.
According to DiMarzio Schelotto is “Forced Redemption at 3 Millions” (dunno whats that mean, could be a must buy clauses). Ricky Alvarez is must buy if Sunderland avoid relegation. Know nothing about Silvestre tho.

@eroll: It would be better to have Borini instead of having just 3 strikers. As you know, Palacio is 32 years old and struggling for getting his form. Osvaldo is not in his top form. So we are only reliant on 21 year old Icardi. We loaned Alvarez and Bessa out, but Guarin stayed. Who supports Icardi? Only Kovacic and Hernanes. Kovacic is only 20 year old and he can do a lot in order to be considered as an attacking midfielder. Hernanes is not a pure attacking midfielder. Are you happy now?
We’re lack on striker, that’s an undeniable fact. But Panic buying is not an answer. I would be happy if we’re getting Borini, but not for 14 million ! he could be our most expensive signing this season and what he’d do if Palacio & Icardi is fit ? Warming our Bench ?
We could do a lot with 14 million, like buying Rolando and still having much money left in our pocket. and also guarin can be deployed as an attacking midfield, both Strama and Mazzari had experimented with him. If you looks at his stats, Guarin is more productive than Bonaventura.

@franco: i am not gonna lie, actually wanted bonaventura at inter but its not the end of the world we did not get him. Palacio is just struggling from the world cup and his overall reliance last year, he would be ready in a week or two(as he rested enough to my opinon lol). Osvaldo is just picking up his form, that does not mean he will take a year, maybe a few weeks. Even though bonnazolli is young, its clear that he can hold some responsibility, if we play him in europa league that is. By january, there will be a striker coming in and guarin out. It would be sensible from ausilio to start working on a sale from now till december to sell guarin once and for all. Kovacic and hernanes just need more game time and they will definitely be crucial for our attack, just wait and see. Be patient for around 2 matches for inter to get their rhythm back and hopefully we start winning.
Bona should be easy to capture.. But this guy seems didnt do his job!! Now we need to be aware when derby comes!! Bona will make a different.. You guys with me? Just my opinion
