The match against Parma saw a season record low in terms of shots on goal. Inter only managed a single shot on goal at the Tardini on Saturday, which reflects negatively on the current state of Inter’s attack. This is especially troublesome as Inter held 70% of the possession during the game yet still only managed the single shot on target.

When I see Inter, I see 11 players passing the ball around and the only thing they know is which way the opposing goal is, and that’s it. There is no game plan, there is no fluidity, there are no more than 2, maybe 3 attacking plays which are predictable to say the least. The defense run around like they are small children lost in some big city and concede the funniest of goals, AND while this happens we get to read WM statements like: “we are growing”, “it’s a tough league, every team is strong”, “the whistles only make us stronger”, “we are a team in progress” and all that bullshit.
Ultimately, I think that WM is not a bad guy, but he totally lost control of the situation and should be man enough and admit it, maybe even resign himself. He used 4-4-2 for most of the preseason and we played some nice football that way, and then the season starts and he’s back to his ultra-sterile 3-5-2. Even if he switches back to a 4-4-2 now the team’s morale is so low right now, I don’t think it will work. Not to even mention that he got the players he wanted! Seriously, before this season started I was laughing so hard at my friends that support Milan and it seems that they will be laughing at me at season’s end.
The most depressing part for me is the fact that this season will finish in whatever way it does, and then we are back to square 1, new coach, new tactics, another “year 0”, fourth in a row, as funny as that sounds.
Not such a surprising stat. When your team play so slow that retirees wander past them on the way to the shops you know you are in trouble. Mazzarri isonly concerned about stopping the opposition not imposing his game on them. That is why we drew so much last year and why we suck still this year. There has been no progression, we could have drawn against both Sampdoria and Cessena, and Napoli was a let off to a large degree. We still havent played half the top teams yet either.

after inter lost to last place in the standings twice do you really want this team to face a top team in serie a ? well there’s the case of sampdoria game but how many times have inter been able to score on a PK since mazzarri as coach? just 2! you have to get inside the 18 yard box for that to happen and how ofer does that occur? i am looking forward to the udinese game – i hope that right after that game mazzarri gets canned so strama can stick it the new owner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While i understand Mazzari is a pretty decent coach his play style and tactics have shown no improvement since he was hired. We have talented enough players to at least make the top 4. Better to let him go now than later on in the season because things could be a lot worse by then
Again another players who’s got talent, but WM doesn’t kn how to play him to his full potential, similar to guarin,vidic,m villa ect situation. And our new owner is also like WM in the sense of not acting and happy as things are praying for miricales ie penalties every other game what a set of clowns which one is dumb and which one is dumber you guys decide.
