Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.com Mario Somma, the former coach of Alessio Cerci at Brescia discussed a possible return to Italy for the player.
“I can not comment on Inter, but Alessio is the right player for anybody. Mature, ready and strong but above all able to make the leap to a big team. it would be a perfect purchase for any Serie A side.”
How is it such a talent is struggling to establish himslef in a technical league such as the Spanish one?

Inter does not need to buy anybody ! If Mancini is as good as people think he is then recall all those inter players that did not make Mazzarri’s squad and have Mancini turn them into stars. recall: Schelotto, Perreyra, Silvestre, Taider Longo, Cristeig, Belfodil, Bardi……then, if enforcements are required in attack scour the league for free transfers and you may be able to re-sign: Cassano? maybe…..Pazzini? possibly? Amauri ? I seen Rocchi signed b4 so why not ………………….but if Inter has to purchase a winger only go for the highest of quality….Simone Pepe 🙂

Cerci’s price is too much when you see his serious struggling in Atletico Madrid and too high for his qualities. If we can get him on a reasonable price OK (for me under 10 mil) or better go for somebody like Konoplyanka, younger, cheaper, showing his qualities every game with his club and national team.
No need to rush to buy this man. Mancini is still trying make Kovacic as wide striker. Lets see in next matches first.

Oh no please. The kid (kovacic) is struggling to find his position. There is a big debate about trequartista or regista. And now we are going to play him as a wide striker. Please, he is only 20. I understand if Mancini plays him as a wide striker for a couple of games is he is out of better options, but do not try to turn him into something he is not. His best quality is his vision of the game and passing. I would try to get Cerci on loan and buy Kornoplyanka.
Aquilani, giovinco, gaston ramirez, ben arfa are also players who has their contract end by next year. They could be a good cheap alternatives to strengthen the squad.
Giovinco… Rube would give for free to CSKA before letting him go to Inter.
