Sat only a few rows away from Cerci’s agent Sergio Berti, Inter’s chief scout Massimiliano Mirabelli was also present for Atletico’s game in Turin. A coincidence maybe but it can’t go unnoticed that two people with a mutual interest in the players future were so close. Cerci himself is barely being used and unless the situation changes will request to move in January. He’s already made his mind up that he wants Inter but now it is up to the Nerazzurri to see if they can persuade the Spanish Champions to part company with the Italian international.

Honestly, for a player that’s not even being used by Ateltico, they’re asking for way too much. If he was that useful he would have been finding some playing time.
I would prefer the club being a stable CL-qualification contender, before splashing out those kind of money. So more investment in the squad first, enough with the stupid transfers which appear cheap in the beginning turning out to be costly in the end.

Sell Guarin (18mil), Kuzmanovic (3-4 mil), DAmbrosio (7-8 mil), Jonathan (7-8 mil.), let Campagnaro go in June (expiring contract), sell Perreira (7-8 mil). If we sell them for lower indicated amount it’s total of EUR 42 mil. Buy: Montoya, Schaar, sign Konoplyanka for free in January, bring back Duncan, Crisetig, promote Bonazzoli, Puscas (that’s not all but it’s a great start for a young, motivated team with part of it from our own school)

It does look like Inter are into Cerci and that they’ve made contact with him or his agent (these things usually go like this, a “coincidental” meeting somewhere hidden away from the cameras).
We’ll see what Atleti have to say, but I don’t think a loan + option/obligation to buy at the end of the season is impossible if we can talk to Simeone and remind him of his days in the Inter shirt.
Please do everything to get Cerci because Milan is ready to make an offer. We can go far with Cerci+Icardi+Osvaldo!
