La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter will likely make two acquisitions in January.
The pink paper also points towards the system they believe Roberto Mancini will use given his new players. They believe that Diarra and Podolski are the two incoming players.

Author’s note: I do believe this one will cause some controversy… I’d definitely have Medel in…just saying… I personally think we will make three acquisitions, depending on whether Diarra will be taken instead of a more expensive option or not. It’s simply wishful thinking to believe we will overhaul the team in January. I see a maximum of three players leaving, and hopefully, we could get four in? That would be amazing, really, given our situation.
So what do you make of this report? How many incoming vs outgoing players do you think we’ll see in January?
Hernanes is a starter for me, while we should focus on a quality winger like Xherdan Shaqiri / Yevhen Konoplyanka !!!!! Or better, BOTH! Shaqiri LOAN with obligation to buy [4 year installments] and Konoplyanka FREE signing in summer.
If it was up to me, I would put Osvaldo in Palacio’s spot
Diarra and Kuzmanovic in th midfield, that’s funny! With that kind of quality in the midfield we will be at the same level as Chievo. And Palacio it’s not a winger, it so hard Mancini to understand that? I’m sorry, but with players like Lucas Leiva, Diarra, etc., that flying around we look pathetic.

We are currently in 11th position so I do not believe that only 2 players will do it. What if someone gets injured? I think we need at least 3 new players in if they will have any major impact.
Who do you expect will take you seriously with Kuzmanovic in the starting lineup and Hernanes/Guarin/Medel out of it?
I’d take Kuzmanovic over Guarin any day but I agree that Medel should be in the 1st squad.
Hernanes, Medel and my grandmother all go before Kuz. He is trying hard under Mancio but it just isnt enough. He doesnt posses enough quality to play for a club like Inter. An average player at best….
Would you rather use an average player who will give his best or a potentially good player who doesn’t give a crap about his actions on the pitch? 🙂
What makes you say that a player like Hernanes or Medel do not care? I’m sorry, but trying hard just doesnt do it for me.
I was talking about Guarin. Medel and Hernanes are both professionals and they act like that.

Because you also need a TALL player in the center [like he had Vieira back in the days]… I believe he would prefer Paulinho / Obiang but it’s not easy… so we might just sign Tino-Sven Sušić.
