With the arrival of Podolski, whose papers did not make it to Inter yet, expected to be here by tomorrow night or Monday morning, he took his time to know his fellow teammates and talked to the coach who has a very clear idea how to get the best use of the german striker, not only as a winger but as a center forward also.

I’m sure Mancini doesn’t plan to use Podolski as a CF unless he has no other option, at least as far as 4-2-3-1 is concerned. Inter are lacking in wingers and there’s enough alternatives to Icardi (Palacio/Osvaldo both are better suiting as CFs than they are as Wingers).
