West Brom are looking to boost their squad with possible Berahino sale money.
The Premier League club are looking at Aaron Lennon of Tottenham and Yuto Nagatomo of Inter for their wings. The Japanese player is not performing at the same levels that he once did at Inter and the club are willing to negotiate for him.
The Mirror claims that the €30 million in liquidity would be spend in January to boost the team’s place in the standings. Inter could then use the money towards their own transfer spendings. Saido Berahino for his part put four goals past Gateshead in their last fixture and claims he’s happy at West Brom. Tottenham and Liverpool are said to be most interested.

“The same level as he once did” – lol. I admit Nagatomo seemed bright for a brief period, but not like his performances ever attracted praise from pundits or envy from opponents.
I wouldn’t sell him just yet, though, I’d wait until next summer when Inter will have more time to find a proper replacement (perhaps Criscito if he doesn’t sign an extension with Zenit, or Santon if we can lure him back).

I’d be happy to see any of those go, and there’s more people who deserve to see their names on that list, but the fact is they are very difficult to sell. I wonder what our management was thinking when they were signing most of them in the first place.

If an offer of 7 to 8 million comes, then I will be glad he is gone. However, if that happens, we have to get one more defender which i hope will be darmian(even though he is a rb).

Even though all the facts state that we are indeed strongly in lead for his signature, I think I know how you fell – it sounds too good to be true – Shaqiri + Podolski in a winter transfer period, beating Liverpool and Juventus as competition… If this does really come through, all commendations to Ausilio and huge thanks to Mancini for urging the club to invest.
I do find myself a little worried at the latest rumors that Liverpool are launching an enhanced bid at Bayern to force their hand. However, I remain convinced that Shaqiri wants Inter because we guarantee him a starting spot unlike Rodgers. As long as no one else joins the race, I think we’re okay.
