Gazzetta dello Sport attempts to anticipate the choices of Inter coach Roberto Mancini. After speculation that Hernanes could occupy a wide role in the 4-2-3-1 Mancini is targeting things seem to have changed. The ex Lazio man worked with Kovacic in a ‘Christmas tree formation’ 4-3-2-1 during yesterday’s practice. The most likely route Mancini will take however is to change very little. Palacio and Icardi up front with Kuzmanovic, Guarin and Medel operating behind Kovacic. Hugo Campagnaro looks set to start on the right hand side of defence. If international clearance arrives Lukas Podolski and Hernanes could be very good options off the bench.

I sincerely hope that Mancini does plan to start with Hernanes once he’s fit. It’s a shame to leave him on the bench.

nah! you thought it wrong. Campa as the right back, possibly rano juan on the center, and danilo on the left (yes, he can and he had). Surprise if vidic comes for rano on the starting lineup.
