Motta coming back would be such fantastic news. By far the best player of all our midfield targets (despite his age), with great experience in the league and with the character of a leader and a champion (in a time when we clearly lack a captain with proper feet on the field).
Thiago + Shaqiri and we’ll mean some serious business – though we still have a lot of work to do on the defense.
if we got Motta. I like the idea to sell Hernanez to Lazio swap with Balde Keita or Felipe Anderson + money

Lucas Leiva is a sensational player and very underrated. He would make a great addition to Inter. On the other hand, Motta would be even better in my opinion. He is a great player overall and was part of that histotic treble squad. He’s a bit old now, but the quality is definitely there.
Totally agree on this. Having Motta and Medel as our defensive midfielders will add quality to our defense. Ranocchia needs quality players to cover his ass
Or we can simply get rid of Ranocchia as far as the starting lineup is concerned and solve the problem that way 🙂
But wait, we made him captain.
Not that I still wouldn’t want Motta in midfield.
