Maurizio Sarri, Empoli’s manager spoke to Rai sport after his team’s defeat today against Sampdoria in Genoa about his next game against Inter:
“The team played well despite our low number of chances, then Eder scored a great goal but we failed to build upon it to equalize, we’re thinking about our next game.”

“We will find a different team, they did not strengthen only in the transfer market, we will meet a twice as strong team next game.”

Next week Lazio (+6 points on us and in 3th) meets Napoli (+5 on us in 4th) and Milan faces a tricky Atalanta home-game while we meet Empoli!!
And the week after that Lazio and Milan meets, Fiorentina meets Roma and Napoli meets Genoa – while we meet Torino at home!!
And then after that the “new” Parma faces Milan at home, Fiorentina meets Genoa and Juve meets Udinese, Samp faces Torino, while we have Sassuolo at home – so the next 3 weeks will be extremely important and really the time to close in on 3th place is NOW!!!
