Inter’s priority is now a central midfielder and Vidic’s great performance, combined with Juan’s long suspension could prove to see the hierarchy change because the Serbian proved to be a leader for the whole defense. Something that neither Ranocchia nor Juan have been able to do during the season.

Suspensions/injuries could see Juan move into the centre and Dodo take the left back position. Rano/Campagnaro can be called upon in dire injury crisis or whatever. Same for Nagatomo.
We saw the real Vidic from the Man Utd days in the last game against Genoa. He has rock solid at the back and an arial treath on set pieces. Andreolli was ok even though he was a bit rusty and haven’t played much this season. He should continue playing with Vidic. At least he doesn’t make costly errors like Ranocchia and JJ.
I think we should keep Vidic and play him with JJ, and make Rano as last option.
Since we played 4 defender, i think vidic is doing fine. but surely we need FB since campagnaro cannot run anymore
How about moving JJ to play as a left back, and have D’Ambrosio to play right back instead of slow useless Campagnaro. Then we can have Vidic/Ranocchio Vidic/Andreolli as center backs.

Ok what about andreolli? I feel like in every game I see him he looks good. I’m not saying he is great but he is a 28? Year old Italian defender who plays well when called upon. I feel like maybe he should get some more playing time instead of video.

agree we really don’t need cb and cdm our weakest point is LB we have great CBs but need to choose right pair maybe vidic juan or vidic andreolli than push juan at LB
He had a good game but still you could see the Vidic that made those mistakes,he still kept the ball with out no reason. I hardly see it he can overcome Ranochia and JJ not that they are superb but he right now is disastrous. I hope he finds his feet soon.

You could see he kept the ball more than he should. And i’m not saying Ranochia is great but at least doesn’t cost us almost every game we play.
Obviously you dont know that much about football. Because Vidic was our best guy on the pitch together with guarin. And yes again, Ranocchia’s positioning is really bad and it already costed us arround 10-15 goals this season. So he is soooo overrated. For me he will never been a good defender. Vidic is god for him in every aspect of a football game and character on the pitch.
