After being on the bench recently Mateo Kovacic is set for a starting place for Inter in the Europa League away to Celtic on Thursday.
Sky Sports reports that he will replace Marcelo Brozovic in the Inter line-up.
Brozovic is unable to play in the Europa League as he is cup tied after playing for his last club Dinamo Zagreb in the same competition.

Kova (creative CAM) and Brozo (box to box CM) are way too different from all aspects, so comparing them with each other is not logical.
Btw I believe in both of them.
I miss the kovacic who he was when he came to inter. When he came he was worldclass. But mzzarri disturb him
Funny now the same people that were cheering him on are now pissed that he will play…man this guy bosts lots of skills and no one can complain, he needs time due to the different tactics that’s all…
I think Hernanes should play in the central midfield role, not Kova

I think Kovacic should just be let to do what he does best. Too many positions and roles and tactics recently got him confused. Just place him and Shaqiri behind Icardi and watch them fly.
So he will be used as a box-to-box player (or something like that) – fine! I think he’s much better in this central role, than as a nr 10!

The last hope to get into champions league next year and hang on to icardi without too many complications but yeah,big blow without him in that tournament but we can do it.Its time for the other players to step up that’s all.
Hernanes could have been a better replacement for Brozovic since he’s more physical. But hopefully Kovacic’s presence means that we are playing an attacking football against Celtics.

Podolski is not in the europa list my friend. Plus Vidic-Rano will be too slow against faster Celtics players.
Disappointed that brozovic can’t play.. he’s much better than kovacic. I just fear that kova is too weak for a physical match versus celtic.
Brozo much better than Kova… I am not sure about it, but I agree on the physical part.

Right know he’s better IMO. But overall kova proved to be superior.
Kovacic is a playmaker, a true no 10. brozovic is more a box to box midfielder (no 8). it’s kind of like comparing gotze-khedira/zidane-pogba :p
He’s not better, they’re just very different. Brozo is a distributor, he’s calm and his passes have to be precise. Kovacic is a dribbler and chance creator. He’s fast and can bring an attacker to a shooting position with one pass. He’s good with fast, risky passes. When we just try contain he’s not that effective. And he’s terrible when he’s nervous. I hope the recent victories had a positive result on him.
what ? kovacic is a game changer, brozovic is not. the only thing kova needs is just a right position in the midfield and you will see how spectacular he is
