In an interview to Sky Sport at the end of Cagliari-Inter, Samuele Longo analyzed the game that just took place at the Sant’Elia Stadium. Here is what the ex-Inter Primavera top scorer had to say: “Games like these are decided by a few important moments, it’s a pity because we could have gotten more from this match. Inter are a great team, better than us quality-wise: we were made to pay for our errors. My compliments to Mauro Icardi. What did Gianfranco Zola have to say after the final whistle? He didn’t reprimand us. We can play better, like we showed in the second half. Did I improve my performance tonight? I am happy for the goal, even if I didn’t recieve official credit for it, but I think that even in the last few games I didn’t play badly performance-wise”.

This kid will be back one day I know it.
The problem with his development can be traced to us. We loan him to a different team in different leagues every 6 months.
How can anyone development absent continuity in environment, language, team, manager, tactics and setup?
If Stramaccioni were still here, I am sure Longo would have been included in our team to gain experience or at least sent to a serious-minded team to train him until he is ready to lead the line.
He could be our backup striker next season…
He could have not had his best match ever against us. That’s what we get for having an amazing youth program. We sell them and they come back to bite us on the ass ;D
The few minutes he played, he owned JJ’s ass. Troubled him and nearly conned him twice (after the first goal).
This kid still has a mile to go – wish him all the best
agree
so In other words, all inter’s player are the stars tonight
