Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio spoke to Sky Sport Italia minutes before kick-off between Inter and Fiorentina at San Siro. Ausilio made some important comments about Mauro Icardi:
“If someone bid €40 for him in the summer? We’ve got no intention of doing business, we’re thinking of the present and future of this football club with Icardi. “Our intentions are clear. We’re building a team to last for a long time, with very talented young players. As well as Kovacic and Icardi, we’ve added more quality players such as Brozovic and Shaqiri. And we want to continue in this vein,” said Ausilio.

Ok so I’m pretty sure when Mancini and Ausilio explained to Shaq, Icardi, Kova , Brozo about Inter’s project they didn’t say this year we’ll be in UCL. That would have been foolhardy to management to say and players to believe. I’m sure we’ll do some wonders with our defence in the summer along with some tweeking up front and then we can make a push for UCL…
Sad to say Handa may leave but I’m fine with that. We’ll promote / get back some of our youngsters and we’ll have a young stable team for 38 matches next season. Oue main objective this year should be :
1. Making sure we qualify for Europa next season.
2. Sneaking in UCL by winning Europa.
