Shaqiri or Kovacic?
This the only real question that must Roberto Mancini must dissolve two days from now when Napoli meet Inter, before their trip to Germany this Thursday to meet Wolfsburg.
Mancini seems geared to make from the Swiss attacker a trequartista behind the two strikers Icardi and Palacio, the coach seems assured that the defense will consist of Santon – Rannochia – Juan Jesus – D’Ambrosio, while the midfield will line up Guarin – Medel – Brozovic
Who would you start against Napoli?

Actually i’ve never seen kovacic plays good game in the trequista position, i’ve only seen him play best as deep midfield playmaker… So the choice will be shaqattack..

Nova should either develop the body strength to eventually replace guard’s role or learn to play wide. otherwise we need a different formation, which will risk our attack being very narrow

why not Shaq take palacio place along side Icardi, and we can have Kova back as trequartista? that would be awesome. Hernanes-Medel-Guarin at midfield? The question however, is the CB partnership. That is where Inter problems lay.
I wish it was that easy…kova doesn’t like that roll to begin with and our problems isn’t only at CB, its at defence in general…our full backs aren’t that good either we have a decent one in santon but the others are…wow i don’t even want to start on them.They all seem to be suffering from jonnysyndrome.
Shaq is better to provide the ball around and shoot, while Kova tends to dribble the ball around. Kova need to move the ball quickly and decide when to penetrate with his dribble.

Though I’m a huge fan of Mateo, it’s a big game and Shaqiri is in better shape right now.
I still believe that Mateo should be reintegrated as soon as possible, though.

Vidic over Rano – let Freddy wear the armband, it seems to give him added incentive to play well.
Are you saying that Vidic has been more stable than Ranocchia this season? I don’t think so.
If I have to choose one, Shaqiri needed in starting lineup, they can subs him at 70-80min game time. Kovacic need more time to make impact in recent games. Still kinda hope they both play together tbh
