Mauro Icardi spoke to Mediaset Premium after his late penalty equalizer saw Inter draw away at Stadio San Paolo in Naples.
“The chip? It was one of the ideas I was thinking about. Andujar is a goalkeeper that studies the strikers and the manner in which they shoot the penalties, he’d surely seen my penalties. I know him, it’s ugly for a goalkeeper to concede a goal like that but we strikers have to always think about scoring goals.”
“Today we conceded a lot in the first half, their goal was a long time coming, it came after the break. Europa League? We continue on our path as we want to do our best. We’re sure that with Mancini we’ll do well this year as well as next year. The contract renewal? I don’t know, there’s a lot left” Icardi concluded.

You need to have some big balls to take a penalty like that at the San Paolo. This guy is fearless. He silenced the whole stadium. He has more guts than many of the top paid players nowadays. He need to be renewed, I don’t care if we have to sell him at the end of next season or even this one. With the renewal at least we would make more money
