Micah Richards was interviewed by Talksport about his life in Italy and also a possible move to Inter:
“I am enjoying this season at Fiorentina and in Italy. It’s a very different league from the Premier League and it was tough in the beginning. The coach Montella took me to the side and told me many times that this isn’t the Premier League and that I had to see how this league works. Here everything is based on the tactics and the best players don’t always play, but those who are seen as adapted to every single game will play. This helped me and I’m happy to be here. I prefer to play as a wing back more than a central defender even though here in Italy I play in a back three many times. My future? It’s hard to say anything now, the Premier League is the best and most exciting league in the world but I repeat it’s hard to say what will happen during the summer. I was also contacted by Inter and my former coach Roberto Mancini which means I’ll have a couple of paths to take, I will play where I’ll have the best possibilities to play. I am 26 years old and will be a bosman player, I’d like to join a great club but first of all I want to find a team where I can play a lot. Mancini is trying to build a great team for the next season.”

seems like Mancini is acting more than a typical English manager – contracting players all around Europe on his own, than an Italian coach waiting for the transfer guru to do the job for him – which I like alot. Also him taking so much initiative proves that he wants us to get back to the top ASAP and won´t settle for midioacracy just like Ranier, and young Stramma or Mazzarri!
I´d take Richard in on a free every day and play Santon where he seems to do best; on the left with Naga and with Richards/ DÁmbrosio on the right!
lol just because Mancini contacted you doesn’t mean hes building a great team.
This topic needs more opinions becasue sadly I don’t know much about this player
Had massive potential which he didn’t fulfil with city
Good thing mancio knows him then – he may suck at subbing, but when it comes to transfers he’s one of the best
Hope Micah doesn’t flop tho, he hasn’t been anything special with La Viola so far :/
Of course they know each other, Mancini coached him at City…
Yeah that’s why I said and I quote “Good thing mancio knows him” -.-
I think he’s hinting that he’s coming here
