Erick Thohir was interviewed by the Japanese newspaper The Yomiuri Shimbun and his words are referred by Inter.it:
“The fans are our heart, the players our muscles and the management team our brain. We all work together for the good of Inter. Our fans and their expectations deserve respect, and of course their expectations are the same as our expectations. We’re striving to meet them.”
Being interviewed by a Japanese newspaper Erick Thohir of course talked about Yuto Nagatomo:
“Yuto Nagatomo is a symbol of Inter in Japan, both on and off the field.”
To conclude Thohir had the followings to say about Massimo Moratti:
“He made Inter great. He’s a symbolic figure. I’m trying to do my part to help take this club back to the top.”

Only thing good done this season is getting shaqiri… we need champions all over the field to build a winning team.. we need fighters, we need winners, we need champions.. Inter needs a makeover, Inter needs a revolution
Doing your part is to spend money!!… We need high caliber players, champions stars!!… No more half ass players… rannochia, nagatomo, felipe, podolski.. all must go
Whats the point of having Nagatomo if he cant bring home titles.. 6 seasons with INTER… no titles….
much more like 6 seasons with Inter, not a single accurate cross
The modern game has moved beyond extravagant spending. We must adapt to the times rather than recede into the profligate practices of the past. Building intelligent financial models, with both local and international revenue streams and productive youth development/scouting networks. I’d rather smart transfers than expensive but thoughtless ones. And there are plenty of smart inclusions to be had if only we’d move past this archaic approach to building a squad. Look to Dortmund or Juve.
And what’s the point of having Kovacic if he can’t bring home titles … 2 seasons with INTER…. no titles……
Or for that matter Handanovic, or Icardi, and for that matter any player that has played for us since the treble. Are you really reducing the woes of a poorly managed team to a single player? And it’s 4 years mate.
Inter is one of the biggest teams in Italy and it cannot afford to spend 6 seasons with out titles… I’m not blaming Kovacic because he is very young nor am I blaming Handanovic because he is a goalie..
Plus Inter was going through a very bad spell of coaches over the last 3 years, plus not spending strategically or buying the right players all the time.
What has Nagatomo achieved at inter after 6 seasons… Nothing!!
He was brought to Inter to increase Inter popularity in Japan.. thats all… Thohir said this, and Moratti even said this before.
2010 was 5 years ago mate and in 2011 we won the TIM cup…
Inter is one of the biggest teams in Italy and it cannot afford to spend 6 seasons with out titles… with next year it will be 6

Naga has been in inter for 4 years… why are you saying 6 seasons? Heck four season ago we won the TIM cup…. I don’t understand why you’re saying 6 seasons
Four, Five or Six… All points lead to the same direction… Nagatomo is a shit player and he doesn’t fit at Inter and he has not achieved anything. He was only bought to increase popularity in Japan.
I support Inter since 1989… Nagatomo is buy far one of the worst players I’ve seen who wear the Inter jersey, next to Quaresma
Really what about forlan, rocchi and many more…look I’m not saying naga is good but he has scored and assisted a lot…
wish we had someone like Heung-Min Son to represent Inter at the asian market…
You totally read my mind. I’ve been thinking about him playing at Inter for a long long time! The only downside is it’s rarely to see Bayer Leverkusen miss CL spot these past years. We might have to offer lucrative deal to get him.
yeah.. ”trying”
