La Gazzetta dello Sport reports in today’s newspaper that Erick Thohir has the intention that Inter shall return to “Grande Inter” and to do so he’s ready to invest circa 60 million Euros. A loan that permits him to do all the regular stuff on the transfer market but and give the club a time to breath financially.
Not much has changed during the last couple of days, Thohir will arrive to Milano 19th of April and leave the 26th after the Roma game. There will most likely be a talk face to face with the coach.
Mancini speaks about the necessarily reinforcement during the transfer market, the President has all intention to satisfy him but will not answer to all the questions since he doesn’t want to create too highly expectations to the fans. He want to give a “gift” but it has to go within the budget which can mean that one has to be sold.

Mancini needs to decide if he wants to play with wingers like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, or stick with 4-3-1-2 (2 forwards).
IN:
1) Dybala/Jovetic [17-25m] or Konoplyanka/Ayew [FREE 2015] or worst case scenario Pedro/Lavezzi.
2) Murillo [reportedly done deal]
3) Darmian [worst case scenario Kolarov]
4) Yaya Toure – or similar strong tall midfielder [Guarin upgrade]
5) Allan [Kuzmanovic upgrade]
6) Cech [LOAN contract until 2016]
7) Dragovic/Schär/Vida/Zhang [if needed/opportunity]
OUT:
1) Podolski [expiring contract]
2) Campagnaro [expiring contract]
3) Jonathan [expiring contract]
4) Guarin [sell him for good money]
5) Kuzmanovic [we already have Obi for backup role + younger players like Crisetig]
6) Handanovic [sell him for UCL, he deserves it]
7) Vidic [if possible to sell him]
handa out 12 mil, hernanes or guarin with kovacic out 35 mil in all, rannochia or juan 12 mil palacio onlast year of contract will stay.. i think we can do good business.. Dybala is a possibility no one is paying more than 20 mil for a player in last year of contract
GK: Handa/Perin, Carrizzo
DEF: Santon, D’ambrosio, Juan, Darmian, Rano, Murillo, Dragovic, Andreolli, Nagatomo.
MID: Kovacic, Hernanes, Medel, Allan, Crisetig, Brozovic, Benassi, Fekir.
ATT: Icardi, Palacio, Puscas, Gignac/Luuk de Jong/Luiz Adriano. Shaqiri, Konoplyanka.
Don’t sell kova and icardi… u can sell guarin, kuz, johny, naga, obi, vidic, alvarez, palacio. 40mil if u sell them… u can get dybala 30 mill. 10mil for toure.. and use youngster like benassi, puscas, bonna ,dimarco, dll for substitution. Thohir invest 60mill for shaqiri permanent.
60 milion from thohir + sales of rannocia (13mil), guarin (14mil), kuzmanovic (5mil), kovacic (35mil), handanovic (12mil), alvarez (11mil), gives total of 138mil for spending, which means we can buy dybala/draxler (mil), pedro (17-20mil), peter cech (8-10mil) camacho (15mil), murillo (8 mil), dragovic (14 mil), darmian (15-17 mil) which will cost us around 122mil with 16mil left, which can be used to try and get yaya toure from man city whose contract is about to expire in one year i think, or use it to buy shaqiri.
So basicaly our formation could look like this:
4-2-3-1
-cech-
Darmian- murillo/juan- dragovic – santon/d’ambrosio
Toure – camacho
Dybala – hernanes – pedro
Icardi
Or:
Cech
Darmian- murillo/juan- dragovic – santon/d’ambrosio
Medel – camacho
Shaqiri – draxler – pedro
Icardi
I know it might seems unrealistic but one can fantsies…. 😉
The hardest part there is getting 13 mil for Ranoccia.
10mil would be good as well, even though i heard juve and man united likes him so we might be able to get aeound 10-12 mil which is what hes worth acording to transfermarkt
The retard-defender will be out of contract this summer so getting money from him will be hard.
He just renewed his contract 2-3 days ago
This is not Football Manager.
All of those names were rumored with a move to inter, and the players i mentioned selling are surely sellable so i dont see any connection to football manager whatsoever sir.
I dont even like the game footballmanager nor i played it
If all those players are surely sellable, how come they are still here although most of them have been on the market for two transfer periods now..
I would be very surprised if Inter manage to sell just two of the mentioned players for less money.. Except Kova, selling him would just be stupid.
And if all players that were rumored with a move to Inter actually came we would have world-class team at the moment.
Rumors are called rumors for a reason, don’t believe everything you read on internet.
No, rannocia wasnt, instead of selling him we made him captain, thats a big statement, guarin always became good before transfer windows so they decided to keep hin because they thought hes a good player worth saving in order to keep building and keeping the goodplayers, as forkuz its right, buti belive wemightmanageto sellhim, and if not its okay he can be sub – hissale womt bring much cash anyways, alvarez? If sunderland wont get relegated they have to pay us his buy out clouse which is in the regionof 10-11 mil, kovacic? Sorry but in my opinion hes not inter material, he might had or have potential but the good young players who really are good are stars at his age and his notplaying that good and hes hereforlike 3 years already? I’d take shaqiri + dybalaor draxler if possible anyday. Handanovic – im sure we get for him around 12-13 mil, his worthis around 20-22 mil and there are manyteams intrested so since he probably wont renew and got 1 more year left on his contract we can sell him at lower price than that.
And havent you read the article…? Thohir will invest extra 60mil as a gift to get stronger roster, plus the sales i mentioned can get us theoretically the players we want, mancini attracts players with his name and reputation, now its up to him and ausilio to do their magic, and besides, this formation is just what i wish would happen, and it will probably be really tough since we became pretty much mid table team… :/
How come the owner can gives the 60 million as the FFP regulations does not allow the owners to inject the cash???
Honestly, i have no idea
That could be the reason bro
I would really love to see ausilio skills in selling inter scraps, if he can do that, then he might be one of the best sporting directors.
Regarding rumors it depends on the source to be honest, Gian Luca di Marzio seems to get 80% of inters transfer market rumors right and updates accordingly if there were mistakes, I find him to be the most credible in terms of rumors. Not sure how he gets his info but it seems to based on something rather than tutto which make up stuff and hope to god it’s right lol.
I agree wit u..Rano , JJ and Guaro are very sellable atleast 10 mil for each
Handa out Cech in
Jonathan, Campagnaro, Felipe,Silvestre Dodo out Murilio 8 mil, Darmian 10 mil + Benassi in
Alvarez 10 mil, Taider 5mil, Botta, Laxalt out Pedro 20 mil in
Podolski out, Fekir 15 mil in
Well good news. By selling handa for 30m . Guarin for 10-15m . Jonny obi naga kuz dodo and some other useless players we can get another 60m. Now how to spend it properly : 15m for dragovic – 20m for fekir – 15m for darmian (he isn’t worth more ) 30m for either dybala or lacazette – and 25m maximum for yaya. And use the leftovers to pay for shaq and broz
We won’t sell Handanovic for anything close to 30mill. He’s 31 and has 1 year left on his contract.
A keeper can play until he is about 40 . And samir is curently one of worlds bests. And a team like liverpool or arsenal or real or manu( if they sell de gea ) are in need of keepers and will compete for him and give that kind of money
But not 30 mill I completely disagree, the absolute maximum he can get is 20 mill and thats if inters lucky.. since he just has 1 year left and would not renew, most likely its going to be around 10-15 mill.
Still doesn’t change the fact that he only has 1 year left. Most will wait like Bayern did with Lewa or get him cheap.
no way we are getting 30m for handanovic. guarin max 10m. jonny and campagnaro will be free agents in the summer and we get max 20m for the others.
What worries me is Inter will not be a winning team under RM unless he get the players that “suits” his game plan. The way i see it, theres still a lot he can get out of this team. Its just a matter of guiding them on the right path. Players that once play well even under Mazzarri like Kovacic now struggle under RM which not long ago deemed the future Inter will build around. Where is that now? If RM gets the players he wants but then failed to achieved the Club main objective next season, he is rightly to be fired. But for now, i just want them to beat Milan next week and finish this season on a high note.
RM is most probably the only thing right now that can attract players with high quality, so if he get those players that “suit” his game plan and without a doubt would increase the level of inter then why not. Just to let you know, i am not going against you or anything just merely stating the fact that Mancini is a quality magnet (shaqiri brozovic santon), i am sure without him we wouldnt get these type of players. However, if he did not make it next year and got fired, at the very least im sure we would have at least 11 decent quality players. This eventually would cause several decent international managers want to coach inter, rather than get someone like a mediocre coach as mazzari. So at least in a positive note, this time next year inter will have a decent a team whether we were in top 3 or top 5, i doubt we would be any less to be honest.
Inter is a world wide brand. A brand that stands in the world elite although current stated otherwise. Mazzarri was not a ‘decent’ coach before he joined Inter. He was the ‘Coach of the Year’ prior his arrival from Napoli. Inter will always be a magnate for any coach or players brave enough come and play under high demand and pressure than anywhere in Europe. The question is whetever Inter top management made the right choice with RM in order to be back at the pinnacle of European elite, is something i have doubts at. I hope i am wrong.
He is simply the best thing inter can have right now to be honest.. His playing style is not flawed.. He just needs proper wingers.. I can’t judge him until he has had a full transfer market and a summer to prepare the players without any pressure
Next season will be his judgement because there won’t be be any European matches involved. But there’s the issue: what star players like Toure would want to come if theres no European appeal to it? Talking about wingers, playing 4-3-1-2 definitely not a formatiom for wingers. These tactic needs to change. Unless he play 4-4-2 @ 4-5-1 then maybe we can talk wingers.
Agreed, I’m assuming ausilio would get wingers this summer and yes he should be judged if he does not get at least 3rd place next year.
oh come on. without any pressure? managing this club, there will always be a pressure
look in the summer there is no official matches just training and friendlies.. Pressure comes when the season starts, because every match counts then.
if the likes of brozovic and santon are considered as quality, then no wonder this team falls so damn high. and frankly, what did mancini do to get them? shaqiri, santon, and podolski was a bench warmer who needs some field to show their quality. no matter how many mancini around here, they wouldn’t even bother hearing any offer from this club if they had a regular play time on their previous club
Shaqiri was going to go to Liverpool for your information.. He said himself he choose inter over other clubs due to mancini. What does mancini has to offer you say? Well his cv speaks for itself, He won titles at several clubs ..I guess that’s what players want.. It’s a no brainer really. Brozovic and shaqiri both have done so well in their national teams, they just need time to gel well together with inter. Santon has been the best full back for inter since Maicon. No need to be pessimistic, you said the players need some field time to show their quality, then why are you going against that.. It’s simple if they have quality and can improve this team then why the hell not come to inter given our very limited financial resources.
he was going to liverpool? no he was not. it was only between us and liverpool. how far away liverpool from us? not that much. and as i said, he needs a guarantee space to play. any logical mind would pick us over pool if he really wanted to play since pool are already packed up with midfielder. it’s not rocket science actually. and he said himself he wanted to join here after mancini explained his plans for him not because there is a particular person named mancini around here. which titles? an easy scudetto because of the give-the-ball-to-ibra-he’ll-know-what-to-do strategy? or is it a minute margin of winning premiership even though he had definitely the best roster in all over england? even benitez had a lot better cv than mancini.
shaqiri yes, he was a star of his national team. but brozo? he is in croatian national team and he is still fighting for first team place. decent? yes. quality? nope. hahahahaha now that’s funny, santon the best full back since maicon. really, that’s just shows how low the level of this club has been. i’m not pessimistic, i am realistic. and which part in my comment saying i’m against them?
You seem to be hot headed.. Lol.
if shaqiri went to Liverpool I’m sure he would be guaranteed first team football with such open spaces in premier league shaqiri could have more space to terrorize defenders. You can’t compare a team that could be said as one of the best leagues right now then any team in serie a. I repeat brozovic just needs time to settle into the league it’s not easy to move from one league to another mid season. And yes santon is the best fullback since Maicon, but again your very pessimistic that your read that statement in the worse possible way because what I meant is that after Maicon every fullback that arrived was a failure except santon, I didn’t say he is the best fullback in the world.
A coach works the team week after week and has to deal with their issue and keep them in the right set of mind to maintain a winning team.. he had the most consecutive wins for inter at that time, so even if you would like to say that his lucky you have to give credit where credit is due.. That’s why I’m saying your pessimistic.. a realist looks for the good and bad.. Yet you seem to focus very very much on the bad side and exagerate on it.. Look I know this team is not the best in the world, but it’s improving, new president new CEOs basically a lot of management staff been changed and in my opinion it just settled, this affects everything from top to bottom. If you want a ready team go support psg chelsea barca Madrid, but if you really love inter then at the very least give a chance for a coach that won inter titles (for your info mourinho guardiola are arguably the best coaches around and they all need quality players. One more thing man city has An amazing squad yet pelegrini can’t win with them and is stuck in what 4th place when he should be around 2nd place at the very least but that’s because he’s not a world class coach as mancini)
hahahaha. i’m not the one who was whining week in week out several months ago without any sane reasons like some other people around here.
what do pool have? sterling, markovic, coutinho, lallana. these are players that have pretty much same position like him, and pretty much same age. while here, do we even have one player that can be considered as winger? yes it wasn’t easy, yet again considering him as quality? the same case as santon. both are considered quality material only because they have some better form than some other player which definitely not quality enough. we haven’t even seen them for half a season. i still remember how naga was considered as quality when he had great run back then. the same goes to ricky. the same also happened to d’ambrosio some time ago. how easy it is to consider how great they are just by seeing a glimpse of their form. and then when they had some drop in form, there will be people saying total shit about the same player. really, so much like an interisti.
of course i give credit where it’s due. that is why i’m saying about give-the-ball-to-ibra-he’ll-know-what-to-do. that is where the credit goes to. which good part? we’re wasting huge money for a non existent improvement. do the players improving? no they are not. they are still the same players who can show some decent form on a game yet miraculously like an amateur on another. even some are actually getting worse. are we getting better points per game? definitely not. if there is a good thing then that is not on the pitch. and NO, i’m not slating the coach and wanted him out right now. don’t even put me on the low level like those people who couldn’t even think straight for the sake of the club and only wanted to chop off the coach because of some ridiculous reasons. all i’ve been saying was the fact. about how the coach was never the real problem before, about how the coach now is not why the players came in, about the players that came in wasn’t that great of a quality.
and really, i mean really? pellegrini cleanly won the premiership last year with even less spend that mancini and against more competitor. heck he could even take an unknown malaga to a top 8 of europe. something that mancini could only ever dreamed of even with a luxury team. and mancini also left with more than 10 points behind in his second season there. so saying he is doing better than pellegrini is rather illusional.
o yeah one more thing, mou and pep definitely need quality players to win. everyone does. yet they can still work something out and maximize what they have in their disposal while mancini on the other hand can do nothing without his best players
I think I will be mature enough to ignore the first sentence as I’m not sure if your referring to me or other interista here..
Returning to our discussion, maybe you have a point there regarding Liverpool and it makes sense that mancini promised shaqiri to be the pivot of the team. Although santon really surprised me because it’s simple stuff these fullbacks we have available that could not comprehend.. Inter in my opinion is built with wingbacks not fullbacks as santon maybe that’s the reason he looks much more comfortable in his role and with better quality than the rest in my opinion. Much much respect for you not slating the coach randomly as most do here, however mancini needs at least a summer to prepare the team with wingers because that’s his style of play, I would personally criticize or praise him based on his performance next year. Althoug this year he really pushed the team to attack and speaking on stats every match you see so many attacking plays yet the players not being clinical infornt of goal .
Mou and pep always always had amazing teams especially pep that guy started his career with messi Xavi iniesta .. That’s more than enough..
speaking on stats, the anti football that your talked about made pretty much same amount of chances as what mancini’s team does. and on some games with that anti football thing, it was plain obvious that finishing was always been the problem. yet the many people ignored the facts and still points the finger to the coach. and considering how much more possession this team has than the previous, it’s ridiculous how the chances this team made and the chances it gave to the opponent is not that much difference than before. that is why i’m saying that the team does not improve. and that is why i keep saying how stupid it is to change the coach when things wasn’t even that bad and season are still faraway from over. even more stupid that this team waste those much money on someone who had been known dependent on his quality players while the problem of the club was how much money it don’t have to getting quality players.
pep maybe, but mou are still someone who can drew more than 100% of what his players have. that is a special gift there and mancini is not even close to that
I’m sure I saw more shots on goals and more attacking plays from Mancini than mazzari..
if you think 14.4 shots per game is better than 17 shots per game of “the anti football” time which 9.2 out of that 17 were inside the box while only 7 out of 14.4 were inside the box are a sign of improvement then there must be something wrong with you. o yeah we had improvement alright 4.4 on target under mancini against 4.3 before. all this while have better possession than before 58.5 from 57.2. we’re improving? yeah right
Quite interesting point you made there, is your stats from the whole mazzari vs mancini spell at inter or is it just in comparision for the same amount of months For both coaches. So far my judgement is basically what i see on the pitch and the stats end of the match and havent really taken the average to compare as im not aware from where i could get these stats. Therefore for my own knowledge and a better discussing with you or any other member, could you please tell from where can i get these stats you just presented?
it’s between inter several months early with the previous coach and inter several months after until now with the new coach. since both had pretty much similar squad so it’s pretty fair to compare those two. the data was from whoscored.com and it’s only serie a without any coppa or europa counted. you can check it by yourself if you wanted in case i might count some wrong number in it
Thanks for the info I always wondered where I can get these damn stats. It was very refreshing to have this what seemed to be a heated discussion I guess lol, but some users lose sight sometimes in a discussion, the point of it is to share views and eventually learn from each other and improve our knowledge of our beloved club inter and football in general, at least that how I see it.
Forza Inter
How much debts does Inter have? I want Inter to win now, I want them back to Pazza Inter or Grande Inter! But if we going to succeed in the long way, shouldn’t Inter pay of their debts first?
Around 230mil euro, if I’m not mistaken
At the end of Moratti era, I read somewhere that it is 80M.
That was the amout we were in red that year I guess NOT our depts in total
Yes, and we need to create the system to make sure the constant revenue.
Yeah, Thohir should start with a new stadium or buy the Meazza from the commune!
And that’s without the amount we will get from the sold players
Just dont waste all of it on Yaya… We need some fullbacks and strikers as well.
Cech/Perin instead of Handa
Murillo Dragovic Darmian in, Ranokia Andreolli Vidic Dodo Naga Joni out
Toure in, Kuzmanovic Guarin out
Jovetic/Dybala Pedro in, Palacio Podoski out
so we will get a lot of money from selling those guys
i’m glad you are not our sporting director
hey, this is not my ideas, this is all news in sempreinter combined!
I dont agree with palacio out…and cech n perin only one of them not both….agree with Dragovic….Jovetic very risky ..injury prone n havent played since forever…dybala I wish but I dont think so…murillo hardly seen him play before but I heared he’s a mediocre….I want Schar n Dragovic to be our CB’s…I agree with selling juan jesus and ranocchia….darmian would be great …
if we can get dybala/jovetic, we can sell palacio, he is decreasing (compared to last season he became very bad)
Jovetic proved himself in Serie A
Dybala is very expensive, but he has bright future
Murillo I agree
Schar will be very hard, a lot of clubs want him
We can get dybala as well as we can sell icardi.
we can get about 20-25 for samir . 10 for guarin and no team want those other players
no team want those other players? there are a lot of teams weaker than inter and they will pay some few milions…
but, we will not get more than 15 for Handa…
Sevilla offered 18mln for Guarin in winter
18 mill for guarin? either the 1 in 18 was actually a typo or you smoke weed too much
What you smoking?
What is it you think? Crack?
which part exactly you didn’t like?
Just show me one stupid owner in the world who is ready to pay a shit for likes of Nagatomo, Johnathan, Dodo and Kuz!
Add Obi to your list as well.
we can easily get 1-5 mln for them, and also we will not pay their wages (all of them together get as much as toure)
weeds isn’t good for you man
