Since it seems Paulo Dybala is set to join Juventus, Inter has to look around for new targets on the mercato. Jovetic has been mentioned but Mancini’s interest for the striker doesn’t seem to be concrete. Instead, the latest name that is being connected to Inter is Erik Lamela from Tottenham. In difference from Lamela’s first season at Tottenham where he was injured a lot, this year he has played more but still disappointed his coach Pochettino. The coach kept Lamela from moving during the summer and according to the reports from England the player could be leaving this summer. If there’s an offer he could join Inter and he could be the perfect player to team up with Icardi up front for Inter due to his versability.

the price difference will not be too big and they are actually playing not just bench warming for two seasons like jojo(min20mln) and lamela(min27mln)!

I think we need 2 new strikers to go with Icardi and Palacio – Jovetic is so injury prone I think we need both him and Lamela.Then with Hernanes and Shaqiri our front 3 is sorted out.
Why are we risking it ?! I mean jovetic and lamela haven’t been good for their team lately. We need promissing players. There are some players that just CAN’T be bad ! If your going to pay 20m on a 50-50 player why not spend a little more on a concrete player. This is what has made us suffer in the mercato .

Yeah . Playing young players is also a good way to build the future and doesn’t cost ridiculously big amount of money .and our primavera players are among the most talented in europe
Sorry, but most fans don’t wait for young players to develop. Everybody wants inter to compete for Scudetto and Europa and you can’t do that with youngsters. Too much pressure for their development and people in Italy are too results focused. First you need to build a strong winning team, then you can start integrating young players into it, during the easy games. That is how Barcelona did it. They had, Deco, Xabi, Ronaldinho, Henry a winning team, so they could had the luxury of giving playing time to the young players like Pedro, Bojan (poor guy) and to less extend Messi to develop and mature
You have a point there . Italians are very impatient ! But i didn’t mean we shouldn’t get top class players . I meant get 1 pro player and play youngsters rather than buying 2-3 mediocre players and not having any youth development
