Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula’s future is between Inter and Valencia. Only yesterday, it seemed as if the Spanish side pulled out of the race when they signed Rodrigo Caio from Sao Paolo. Foot Mercato reports that Valencia have revitalized their interest, and are pushing hard to sign Imbula. ‘Los Che’ already have an agreement with the player, but now need to convince Marseille to let him move to Spain.

Now i’m really afraid that we might end up with neither kondogbia imbula or allan and we are forced to buy melo !
So we need big money from thohir..
Another Dybala case?
Enough with losing targets. Inter should trump Valencia easily. Do your job and wrap him up Ausilio.
Valencia are a far bigger club than inter. although they just bought 2 defensive midfielders at 15m each so imbula might not get play time, inter needs to buy. we can’t lose on all of our targets.
Valencia might be financially stronger now, but they are nowhere near inter. A mid table team from spain, who are internationaly nothing, and were never anything meaningfull. Inter will be consolidated in a couple of years, while valencia will never be a big team.
yeah 4th in la liga is “mid table” 😛 and they offer champions league football. who cares about 5-6 years from now ? we’re talking about a player who has to chose from inter, valencia; they certainly are a better team now.
I never said they arent more attractive right now, but Valencia is NOT a bigger club! A size of a club is determined through its history, achievements and current form. So still, Valencia is nothing compared to inter. Tell me 1 meaningfull player who played there? Where was Valencia 20-30 years ago? And who knows Valencia outside of Spain and football fanatics? They best period was with Benitez (Benitez!!!) and Mendieta who we all know how he ended up outside of that team. So once more – Valencia IS not a bigger club, just more attractive at the moment. 😀
David Silva, Parejo ,Juan Mata and villa if ur talking post “benitez”. they are almost as big of a club as inter (history wise) . plus i don’t think a player would chose a club because of it’s history, in that sense he might chose Ajax above Manchester city . a players (mostly) care about wining trophies and money. we don’t offer non.
Remind me again, how many champions leauges has valencia won? How many primera titles do they have? Of all the players you mentioned only Villa has won anything while at the club. The others moved on to achieve something. Valencia was a selling club, always! Their best player in the Benitez era, Mendieta was picked up by Lazio – not Real or Barca or Bayern. History wise they are inferior, you can not justify saying that they are as big as we are. Right now they are more stable, I give you that. But do you think Valencia will win anything sooner than Inter??? Primera is always a 2 horse race, lately 3, with Athletico, but that was a fluke, and will be. Valencia will win maybe a Copa del Rey or a UEFA cup. That’s it! In italy you always had 3-4 teams which competed. Right now Juve is above the rest, but in 2-3 years that might change, while in Spain it wont ever change. So trophy wise Valencia makes as much sense as inter. Players go there for money only. It’s like Monaco “light”, or as Malaga was a couple of years ago.
u messed the 2nd part of my comment above .
I NEVER doubted what you said about players choosing Valencia over us, I agree, even thou it hurts me to say – I just said that it’s no way considered a big club. We are, although we are pathetic at the moment. We were a “big” club even in the 90’s when we were even a bigger joke, while valencia was never-ever considered as a big club, by no one, not even in spain…
okay i disagree. velancia is a candidate of the three “big clubs” it’s between Atlético Madrid, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia, it has 3,105 points in la liga history 3rd (more than altetico and athletico) it’s certainly a big club in spain. but based on honers bilbao are the 3rd” big club”.
Well, then in italy torino is a big club cuz they have the 4th most scudetti if I remember correctly. They are relevant in spain, okay my mistake, but I guess they are irrelevant internationaly.
Having money doesnt make you instantly a big club. Is PSG or Man City a bigger club than Liverpool (who I hate) just because they are rich? No, no way.
But lets agree to disagree. For me the big clubs are inter, juve, milan, barca, real, man u, liverpool, chelsea (after the CL win), Bayern, Ajax, Porto, Benfica…
yeah they never really made it in Europe.
Bigger?! Yes, 7 La ligas if i’m not wrong. Great club.. They are basicly Spanish Roma.
peter lim really made a big jump in quality when he came, spent big money , i wish he came to inter instead of thohir :S .
Valencia a bigger club than inter? what?
not in a million years mate.
they are now? maybe i should’ve said “better”
