Thiago Motta has recently been strongly linked with a return to Inter but now Atletico Madrid are interested in the Italian international of Brazilian origin.
According to reports from ‘Brand’, any deal will be complicated with PSG ready to offer the midfielder a contract renewal.
The negotiations for the arrival of Motta to Atletico could also involve Inter because at this point the Madrid club could sacrifice Mario Suarez who was linked with Inter back in January’s transfer market.

As you said, we dont need him. Even if we cant get Motta. I know its unrealistic, but pairing kondogbia, imbulla + kovacic in the midfield would be a monster! Just my thought, mate. I really want to see strong midfield next season.

yes but motta was a total flop last year and thats the main reason why he will not receive new contract in psg….
I also feel like mario would be better, but thiago will take the armband from frogo thus his immunity! So it’s quite a dilemma
Just if we sell guarin then we get after another Mid player , I prefer Allan from udinese (An now Stankovic can help us to get him). Medel , Brozovic and KOVACIC is very useful and imbula complete them , so the new buy for mid is not necessary.

I dont care Kondogbia join AC Milan as long as Imbula and kovacic as our midfileder. And I hope Shaqiri can play winger role in both right or left pos. Brozovic and Medel are enough as balancer in mid. Good news if Suarez coming too..Icardi must be as good as Lewandowski while he was at dotmund. Get rid with Obi, Fredy, Kuz, they were flop last season, an oldman Palacio.
If we buy Kondogbia and Imbula we will have to sell kovacic. Inter cannot afford both players, someone will have to be sacrificed between Icardi and Kovacic and you know who mancini plans on keeping
Yeah, I know it. That why I said ‘its unrealistic’. It is just my fantasy, my dream. Get rid Obi, Fredy, Kuz, Naga, and maybe Juan and Dodo. Kova/sub Hernanes as AM. Imbula/sub Medel as CM. Kondogbia/ sub Brozo as CM. Add Gnou as back up player. Since, Hernanes’s price is more than Guaro, i dont mind if we sell Hernanes or both of them.
Cant believe jube have mandzukic for 18m only. By the way, Motta’s departure is inevitable since there is total divorce psg-motta. Psg wont extend his contract. Now it’s up to Mancini whether he can convince motta to come or not

What you are probably unaware of is that Miranda (and maybe Filipe Luis) are on the decline.
That’s true, but they still have a year or two of top level football in their legs. And even on decline, they are much better than any of our current defenders.
And what you suggest? Paying 15 million for Miranda, almost 31 with only one year on his contract and probably another 15 or more for Luis, just because they are better than our current defender (who isn’t? )? As i know we don’t have oil wells!
If managements wants to do that, its because they can afford it. If it improves our defense drastically (which is our weakest link) even if it’s temporary, I’m in favor of that. Miranda seems like a done deal anyways. What I would like to know is what other alternative can you suggest? Dragovic or Schar? Miranda is better than them, we all know it.
Management is management, we’re here to comment and sharing our views. Look, before last two-three seasons in Atletico, Miranda was nobody. When i say nobody, i mean completely nobody, you can search where he was playing before. In Atletico he was playing besides Godin, top class defender and in team very capable in defensive phase. Now he’s almost 31, in decline, he have only one year on his contract, he’ll looking for long-term contract with huge salary and his price will be around 15 million. When you put together all those pieces, i think that this will be bad deal. Who i suggest? Dragovic is a better option. Rudiger could be better too, younger, cheaper and with lower salary. I’m sure that there’s another options too. Miranda could be better than them now, despite that we can’t be so sure, but they are much better than him in long term.
You are right, miranda was nobody, and simeone has been able to transform atletico and miranda himself. Still, miranda’s experiences would be very usefull for our defence. Two spots for new defenders, one for young and one for mature defender, then i can say, Murillo and Miranda are good option (if not best) for those spots. 🙂
We havn’t talked about Mario Suarez since January basically… If he didn’t join us then, I doubt he will now.
