Former Inter player Thiago Motta has been linked with a return to the Nerazzurri for quite some time. The Italian international’s agent Alessandro Canovi has been speaking on CalcioMercato.it on the latest situation after talks for a contract renewal with PSG broke down.

The signing of Motta is just as much about bringing a player with leadership as it is about adding quality. Motta has won everything there is to be won in club football and therefore commands respect. Handanovic is a good guy but he lacks charisma, it would also be unfair to hand Miranda the arm band. Although 10 million is too high.
