Newspaper the ‘Sunderland Echo’ have released the results of a survey on the Sunderland fans’ perception of the season just ended.
In the survey which had over a thousand responses, the Sunderland fans were asked to vote for their best and worst signing of the season passed.
Almost 50% of the voters did not hesitate to label Ricky Alvarez as their worst signing of the season despite the Argentine being affected by knee problems for most of the time and which led to only 5 starts.
The best buy instead goes to goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon who came in from Manchester City.

We need to start getting rid of all of our extra junk players… Nagatomo, Obi, Campa, Kuz, etc. Too many players from the Branca era are still on the team. If we can start selling them off then they will eventually add up… to 20 euro and a bottle of wine. But seriously, we need to start taking offers for these guys. They are just wasting weekly wages.

Jonathan and Campa contract expire. So at least their wages gone. Even if they cant be sold just loan so some other team pays their wage. I’ll buy the cheap wine myself..

Ricky probably could have been a good regista. I think too many coaches, formations and injuries. But at least he was sold after his best season. Usually Inter waits until the player has zero value to try to sell. Morrati was sentimental and too trusting that way
I think he could’ve much better for us than Guarin.
