“My position was where they carried the biggest threat but on a personal level I think I did well,” stated Inter defender Juan Jesus, analysing his performance against Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup tonight.
“There are no sides of the calibre of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the Italian league. We need to be more alert and realise that we can go toe-to-toe with anyone,” he continued.
The Brazilian reserved a special word for the fans in China: “Our Chinese fans show us great support – these people get up in the middle of the night to watch us play. We want to thank them for all they do to cheer us on.”
Finally, Juan Jesus looked ahead to the upcoming season: “Now we head back to Italy to prepare for the start of Serie A as best we can. We need to improve so we can challenge Juventus.”

I don’t understand why people think he’s better n promising than rano?okey both are avrage, but its obvious that rano is better than him. we blame rano for every mistake he made but forgive JJ just because he’s young n claime as interisti. if only he’s as young as di marco maybe we could forgive him. being interisti n inter player is different things. so sell him at first place, push him to accept the offer, n if he still love inter he can buy some shirt n marchandise n also ticket to watch inter games to support inter.
I couldn’t watch the game, can anybody tell me how we played, which players worked and which not and such stuff? Thanks.
Pretty much same as Bayern game. We just conceded more. Without wingers and modern formations we can’t compete with the big boys even if i’m sure that this Inter can beat any medium Serie A side with no problems.
Rano, kova, gnoukori (subbed in instead of brozo), hernanes and murillo did well
Rest of the squad were lazy and didn’t really do that much especially guarin who played just about 15-20 minutes and managed to kill a bunch of birds.
JJ has improved a bit as full back but is still lacking a lot.
Brozo was awful, needs more experience and same goes for kondo (but he showed some strength and promise unlike Brozo)
Palacio’s age is showing, was very slow today
Icardi didn’t get the kind of passes he should get, didn’t really look like a target man this match.
Montoya is mediocre.
Handa did well as always
How did Inter play? Kova? New players? The team?
Kova very good, Kondo and Murillo also pretty well. Attackers couldn’t get a touch of the ball. We lack width in attack and last two signings should be the answer.
You did well when you are not out of position jj…
This guy must retire from playing and become a spoke person for Inter. He really is an interista at heart. But dear god, he is pretty bad. I think he will never be the great defender everybody expected. He is young, but he is being a regular in the last 2-3 years and no significant improvement yet.
