According to numerous sources in Italy Felipe Melo has signed his contract with Inter. The documents are said to have arrived to Inter via Fax and this will make it easier for Inter to conclude the deal for the midfielder who is going to Milano as soon as possible. Felipe Melo arrives together with Brazilian co-national Alex Telles from Galatasaray.

I can’t believe the self-deluded market experts wannabe who criticize Mancini for signing Melo. Mancini wants him because he knows him personally and they had worked together in the past. He is not signing him because a scout told him he is good or a super player. Mancini wants him because he knows Melo can contribute to the team in terms of leadership and fitting spirit, and yellow cards, and red cards, and crazyness in the pitch… Anyway guys, this is by far the best Mercato inter has had in years. So if Melo becomes a flop and endup in the bench that is ok. Let’s just focus in the positives points. I am actually glad that ET gave RM the players he wanted even if they don’t look like the best options. This means that now the coach is having a heavy say in the new signings as it should be. Compared to Kuz, Schelotto, Rocci Melo is a great signing.
Mancini is also the guy that benched Tevez and Tevez ended up taking Juve to the CL final……don’t buy too much into Mancini’s choices he’s far from perfect !! and don’t forget the squad size is 25 players and Inter has 8 fullbacks that’s 30+ % on the squad for 2 spots !!

I dont know what is worst. Having a great player like Tevez on the bench because he is behaving like an ahole, or having him become your most influential player and then have him quit on your team and go somewhere else getting almost nothing in the transfer. Like I said about 3 times. JJ, Santon, Montoya, D’Ambrosio, Nagatomo, Dodo, Dimarco, Telles. That is 8 fullbacks for 2 spots with not much rotation(no European competitions) and barely any minutes as subs. We need to get rid of D’Ambrosio and Nagatomo.
Seems like Mancini is going to be playing with 4 at the back, which doesn’t sound like such a bad idea considering how Inter is in need of a more secure and compact defense. And after we sell Ambrosio or Naga, we have to consider injuries and the fact that DIMARCO and DODO are still not at Inter’s playing level standard.

Quantity != quality. 8 mediocre fullbacks doesn’t mean that we will have a sturdy defense. I would much rather have 2 great fullbacks and 3 subs, than 2 rather meh and 6 subs.

Oh okay right because obviously you’re way smarter than the people running this multimillion dollar company. Many of the defenders we currently have are long term investments buddy and of course we’re not going to be playing every single one of them constantly… we were trying to get rid of a few of them so chill, in the next transfer window we’ll sell some more if it needs to be done. Hahahah some of you guys here think you are more intelligent than the experts who know this industry a thousand times better than us.
