Vladimir Petkovic, coach of the Swiss national team, has expressed his surprise at the end of Xherdan Shaqiri’s adventure at Inter as reported by CSR.
“I don’t really understand what happened between him and the Nerazzurri. In my opinion he would have made a difference in Serie A.”
“Honestly it is a step back but sometimes you have to take a step back in order to make two steps forward.”

Dude I’m serious and totally agreed with you in this.
Let’s take a beer and cheer up for Montoya LOL
Montoya really sucks huh? His passes are passes that only messi and neymar can reach XD
Did you know that GPS chips were inserted into Messi and Neymar’s brain so they can receive a pass from Montoya?
I think we need to start equipping GPS for the whole Inter squad when Montoya is on the field LOL
Yes yes Shaq could have been an icon for Inter, a symbol… But the fact is here, he wasnt good, like Kovacic. So its time to move on, 2 good sells leading us to get better players
Haha this guy is a joke – first he says shaq should have joined a better team then he says him leaving is a step back? Why because we got a better team now? We got better because we sold shaq O mighty coach.
We will see if we have better team right now..
Buddy we have a way way better team than last year – heck the players don’t give up after conceding. No one can deny this.
Yes but we played with weak teams and win at the and.But i hope with Perisic,Ljajic and Icardi we will be much better in atack..
Yeah we were playing with palacio upfront and brozo as CAM… now that the new players are here, I think we will have pretty offensive team
atalanta a weak team? they kicked our weak asses twice last year if I’m not mistaken, but against us they never stod a chance!
the weak teams are often the hardest to beat as they tend to sit back a lot.
Nah I believe he meant leaving inter for stoke is a step back obviously and that he should have gone for a better team (on paper) than inter like RM,chelsea but they didn’t want him so…
Yeah but a few months he said shaq should have joined a big club. Meaning he was saying inter aren’t a big club.
And again we see defending him, how great player he is etc. He is overrated as f**k, just like Gotze, Higuain and most of Spanish league ‘stars’. Three type of comments about Shaq (I’m in first two groups):
1. Neutral supporter: He wasn’t good enough, he even was the worst player on the pitch (like in match against Parma).
2. Shaq haters: He is dumb, selfish, he thinks he is the best in the world.
3. Shaqiri fanboys: F**K YOU MANCINI!!!
Personally I’m really happy we sold him, now we have a team which can compete for scudetto, instead of it we could have in squad only two good players (Handa, Icardi) and stupid primadonna…
Overatted is Mancini as a coach. He spend a lot of money in his teams and he is shit in Europe..
Maybe. But we can’t have Jose, Klopp or Simeone, I don’t see anyone better than Mancio atm. I think Mancini is better coach than Benitez or Guardiola for example…
Mancini is exactly who we need for team building.
Yeahh he is sooo good at team building. He is the alpha male for men. He only needs a phone to seduce players out there and they will come. All Inter managers before him failed to do that.
lol
with our condition like last season no world class coach want take the risk to loose their reputation.. mourinho and ancelotti refuse thohir project.. so mancini is the only choice and i still believe, he is the right choice to build this team.. and if you look at our team today you clearly see the different of quality with our team before mancini.. my point is mancini name can attract big names to the club, which mazzari and strama can’t…
Yes, no one wanted to coach Inter, we were simply too weak. I hated watching us under Mazzarri, we had no system, no idea what to do, no chemistry and too many weaknesses in squad (Rano, JJ, Naga, Jonathan, Kuz, Kovacic). There were matches, where even we could had 180 minutes and didn’t score a single goal… Now there is (first two games) the same problem, but at least we have Jovetic, MM defence which makes the difference. Now I hope with change the formation to 433 or 4231 I will see efficient play..
agree with you, but i don’t think mancini will change our formation in our derby.. because it’s to risky.. unless they do it perfectly in the training ground.. or may today he will try it..
I would start with Kondogbia, Melo and Medel (or Guarin) in midfield, and think 433 would be fine, not too risky and eliminating uneffective trequartista.
actualy we can put perisic as trequartista too..^^ but it’s up to mancini btw,,
If Inter willing to spend 100 million in a transfer window Benitez would do better, Strama & Mazzari too.
benitez maybe, but strama and mazari would not attract big names.. and we don’t have 100 m to spent.. but i doubt benitez would do better too, what he achive in napoli when he have a chance!? look at what mancini do to lazio and fiorentina.. ^^
Good discussion. I agree Mancio helped attract the better players, but Thorir was motivated to spend. Money talks. Furthermore, Inter earned a break from the FF play regulators.
Benitez is overrated. His team missed out on Champions League and choked in Europa. He fell flat.
yess agree with you about benitez.. and just like morati said before, mancio has the ability to convince all the president to buy.. this guy realy is an alpha male.. he has a silver tongue to convince people.. yes, in the process we have to sell some of our talents, but it’s worth it if we see the quality of our squad now..
Good points. It is a quality team. Let’s imagine a hard tackling and high goal scoring team by December. Forza Inter.
Not Guardiola…
He has showed many places that he knows how to build a strong team; Look at what he did at Fiorentina, Lazio, Inter and Chity! Everywhere he sold star/key plaers like Toldo/ Rui Costa (fioren), Crespo/ Nesta(Lazio) in order to build a stronger team – and he won the coppa italia with both – at Inter he build on top a strong team created by Cuper and finally won everything, and at Chity he came in midways after Hughes and imediatly transformed the team into a top contender!
He defently knows how to build a strong team and sacrificing one or two (Shaq/Kova) is done for the greater good!
Wasn’t Petkovic interviewed some months ago when Shaq joined us? If I remember correctly then he said that Shaq could have done better by joining another team (hinting about EPL).
Yes indeed. He said so.
He leave because Mancio is fucking garbage as a human..
in fact I think Mancini like the way Shaq play but for unknown personal reasons was sold- this might be a Mancio thing- probably we would never know- This was like a tragedy for some fans as we like to imagine our current squad including both Shaq & Kova- but well hope the current team can pull CL at least-
is that you when we got kondogbia, perisic, llajic?

hahahahaha.. that picture made my day..XD
I bet on Jovetic, Ljajic, Perisic, Kondogbia (combination of hot young prospect and wide experiences) as reinforcement better than kova and shaq surrounded by any lower quality than the names I explain above, anytime and anyhow.
No player bigger than club.
