President Thohir spoke with Inter Channel after the match against Verona: “Obviously winning the first 5 matches in a row is incredible, we still have many matches to win so we must take it a step at a time. It’s important for the squad to remain focused, they must keep their feet on the ground, we are doing well but that’s football, we need to win match after match, work hard, and remain focused”.
“The last 5 games have been fought on every centimetre on the pitch, all of the players were involved and have made the difference and this is very important.”
“In the previous games Melo, Guarin, Icardi, Jovetic have scored, all of the players are making their contribution and when we play as a team we can get get even better.”

Well I expect way more from Perisic, we are getting the results but this guy has played 3 full games and I only saw like 2 good crosses and a great run from the midfield- maybe I’m too demanding but by seeing Melo… why not!

it’s hard for a team with so many new players to play a attacking good game but yeah that’s solid because we conceeded 1 goal in 5 matches.
Icardi was there, running and fighting for every ball, very active at closing down players, I was very impressed with his work rate. But he didn’t get any usefull balls in front of the goal, that’s not his fault.
The good news are, that Juve, Roma and Napoli are not in good shape,
they are losing points. If we could still in the top in the first round ( until January mercato ), then it will be the right time to talk about Scudetto. With 2-3 more signings on winter,to improve the squad more, there will be a lot of chance to win the league. But now need low profile from all players and hard work. Next 3 are the key games ( Fior, Samp. Juve )
