Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has announced his retirement from International duty with his country Slovenia.
The announcement came after last night’s 1-1 draw in the second leg of the Euro 2016 play-offs against Ukraine which saw Slovenia fall at the final hurdle in their bid to qualify, losing 3-1 on aggregate.
A disappointed Handanovic had this to say after the game:
“I can only say that with the national team, I’m done.”

We(Slovenia) have nothing to worry about. Atleast GK is one position in which we are stacked with good players. Oblak is a extremely talented GK that is currently playing for Atletico Madrid after they paid €16m for him to Benfica. One of the best GKs in the future.
