kondogbia

Tuttosport writes about Geoffrey Kondogbia:

“For the French midfielder, a doubt must be the elevated price spent for him. The 36 million’s spent between fixed amount and bonuses to take him from Milan have been mentioned as a problem that keeps him from delivering. Though everyone who knows Kondogbia claims that his performances have nothing to do with the money Inter payed for him during the negotiations in June. Kondogbia is a very calm guy, who is able to separate his work on the field from what the media outlets are claiming or what the fans might expect. He doesn’t talk much, is a bit shy but he is also very determinated. At Monaco, after some months, he calmly proved being worth the 20 million euro’s that Monaco spent for him as a 20 year old.

The French midfielder can surely count on the support of Mancini. The coach praised him after the game against Empoli and Mancini defended Kondogbia after the game against Sassuolo. “If I hadn’t subbed Kondogbia maybe we would’ve got a draw.” The Inter coach needs Kondogbia because he’s the type of midfielder that Mancini likes: Tall, strong and able to use his physical characteristics to help his team when in possession. Kondogbia will still get a lot of playing time seeing as Guarin and Melo seem to be going down Mancini’s hierarchy. The French midfielder still has many chances to prove what he’s worth.”
