ljajic is not good as a trequartista. he tends to dribble way to much until he loses the ball. jovetic also has the same problem. where perisic is much more direct in his play.
I never said that he is a trequartista but the closest thing we have to it. Perisic needs space to run, he can’t operate in the middle. Wish we still had Sneijder but at this point it’s either Ljajic, Jovetic or 4-3-3.
I believe that mancini will use perisic as a CAM id he’s fit. jovetic and ljajic both have been wasteful and quite frankly awful. I don’t expect inter to redeem ljajic. with eder’s arrival I see us switching either a 4-3-1-2 or a narrow 4-3-3. but we have to get another midfielder. Soriano or banega are needed badly. they can slot next medel and brozovic.
