He is more technical than icardi thats for sure, but its hard to find a good compatible attacking combination with him, even with Ljajic they don’t seems to understand each other. While icardi as a targetmen is having difficulties when all of the forward line likes to keep the ball and shoots, and when they do pass the ball, they don’t understand icardi’s movement. As someone has previously mentioned, 3 top assisters for icardi are kova, palacio and guarin. I hope eder can bring icardi back to his best.
he can play wider by little period training and not just to be a target man, but can’t play deeper because his speed and stamina has limiit. mancini knows his value, yes he is. but he better if played in 4-3-3 formation.
Sure Eder can combine just fine with Icardi – they all ready know each other from their time together at Sampdoria a couple of years ago!

Icardi is not a target man…he doesn’t posses the height nor the strength to be one…or the awareness to turn on defenders.When Icardi is tightly marked he just passes back or across …don’t get me wrong he is lethal infront of goal but just saying a target man is a bit inaccurate to describe Icardi
even with Ljajic… nahhh they perfectly understand each other that’s for sure, in fact we loss something when they are not playing at the same time, also I noticed that Eder is able to pass good balls to any player hope he could turn things around for our team!
