Gazzetta dello sport reports about Inter’s starting eleven against Hellas at Bentegodi on Sunday. The newspaper reports that with Miranda suspended, Juan Jesus is expected to start. In the midfield Melo is set to return so that Medel can rest. Icardi and Eder get another shot to start whilst the third attacking player seems to be Adem Ljajic. This would mean that Perisic and Jovetic start on the bench once again.

What I want:
4-3-3
D’Ambro-Medel-Murillo-Telles
Brozo-Gnou-Kondogbia
Perisic-Icardi-Eder
What Mancini will start:
4-3-3
Naga-D’Ambro-Murillo-JJ
Brozo-Melo-Kondogbia
Ljajic-Icardi-Eder
:/
Be careful what you wish for (Mancio might hear you lol). That midfield you want is a disaster waiting to happen. We need one of Melo/Medel to give stability and cover for the defense. Brozo and Kondo loose the ball too often in the build up faze and leave the defense exposed because the FBs are usually up the field at that moment. I’d like to see Gnou as well but in place of Brozo
JOVETIC WILL BE PISSED DAMN
Great news. Ljajic and Icardi are our two best attackers and we need to start them whenever possible. Same for Telles IMO.
Am I the only one who likes Perisic compared to Ljajic on the WINGS?
Get in line bro, I am the first one. lol
If we had a creative midfielder, yes, but Ljaic is our most creative player at the moment. If only Kova was still with us… Is it too much to hope RM’s troubles continue and they loan Kova back to us next season? 🙂
Perisic sucks, he shouldn’t start at all
Didn’t we play4-4-2 against Chivo – seemed like that to me, with Eder and Brozo on the wings and Ivardi and Pala up front and Medel and Kondogbia in the middle? I’d continue with Pala and Icardi and have Eder on the right hand side and Perisic on the left – him and Telles are doing fine together, and Kondogbia should play again with Melo/Medel… JJ and Murillo should not play together because both are good at loosing concentration and make mistakes! Medel and Murillo should play in defense, as for resting Medel – he’ll get a hole week of doing nothing from Sunday!
But what about the aerial threat of Pazzini and Toni. Murillo can’t handle them alone, since Medel ain’t so great in the air?
Hmm good point, but didn’t Medel play in central defense in the reversed home-game? Not sure but remember Murillo and Mirando to a couple of red cards at the beginning of the season each… Anyways -JJ isn’t much better in the air than Medel – his strengths are in his speed…
Palacio is too old to play whole 90 min so it’s not a good idea to play him twice in a week. 4-4-2 might work with Perisic and Ljajic as wingers and Icardi and Eder up front.
Brozo needs to taste some bench… Never saw a player plummet from potentially 25-30 mil down to maybe 12-15 mil so quickly … Smh.
Icardi, Ljajic, Eder, Jojo, Perisic.. still can’t believe it is so hard for us to score..
The problem is there is no team work between the strikers. jovetic and perisic are usually selfish, only palacio sacrifises himself and makes assists to icardi. We also need a midfielder who can deliver passes to the strikers so it will be alot easier for us to score. But thats the problem, selfish players and no creativity in midfield. I dont know if Banega or soriano will come in the summer but never say never.
I see it major trouble ! i dont know whyyyyy ? fuuukk
Even Eder stil hard to find his 13th serie a goals in 180 minutes with us…hope he’ll score the next game
To score it’s not enough having good strikes, but it’s more team work. Now for us it’s so hard to score because of two major factors in my opinion. First, because of total lack of understanding what players have to do, moving the ball, off ball movements, combinations, etc., overall we don’t have any style and identity. And second, because of obvious lack of creativity in our midfield.
The major problem is Medel (eventhough I adore him for his fighting mentality), whom is an integral part of our midfield. Medel lacks the creativity, and plays cautious back passes under pressure. He is the one unchangeable player along with M&M and Handa in Mancio’s rotating system. The solution is obviously not Melo, but the youngsters such as Kondogbia and Gnoukori, or maybe someone like Banega.
because manager still have no idea instructing proper duty for each of them
I like the Eder-Icardi-Ljajić setup. Both wingers have really good buildup and can provide Icardi with chances. Its possibly even the best starting trio in offense IMO.
As we saw it against Bilan, Ljajic doesn’t stay on the flanks for so long and comes to middle like a CAM, and it not only makes it hard for his fb, but also it decresaes the offensive options of the team.
So, imo Ljajic is a great CAM, while Perisic is a better winger.
all we see Ljajic is better than Perisic whole skills especially fighting spirit (except the speed)…i always prefer Liajic !!!
Don’t get me wrong bro. I didn’t say Perisic is better than Ljajic, I said Ljajic is a better CAM while Perisic is a better winger.
These two positions require different sets of skill, and comparing them without looking at their positions is baseless. It’s like comparing a luxury car with a figher jet!
Ljaic is more tehnicaly gifted while Perisic is pure winger with speed, good crosses and ability to shoot with both legs..Atm Ljaic is better for us and although i like Perisic a lot he should play more often then Perisic, but i just know that when Perisic adapts he would be very usefull at the wings 🙂
I can’t remember any croatian player who adapted imediatly (maybe Rakitic at Barca),even Modric needed almost full season to take control of Real Madrids midfield (and i folow all croatian players so i know what im talking about)
Perisic took time to adapt to Belgium when he first left croatia, but he ended up being top scorer and moved to Borusia where he adapted to Bundesliga but didn’t play much and then showed his potential in Wolfsburg so i expect a lot more from him next season..
First of all, don’t forget Perisic’s stamina and agility.
Then I said Ljajic is a better CAM while Perisic is a better winger.
These two positions require different sets of skill, and comparing them without looking at their positions is baseless. It’s like comparing a luxury car with a fighter jet!
Yeah that is what i meant,Perisic is natural winger and is logicly better equiped to play on wing then Ljaic who plays best as AMC,that is why i said Ljaic should play more ’cause we need him,but as i like Perisic im bit sad as i know that Perisic would be on the bench lol it would be awsome if all of them could paly in 4-2-3-1 but it is just not working atm…
But anyway sory if i wasn’t clear enough,i basicly think the same but got caried away talking about Perisic ’cause he has so many haters and he is actually not that bad this season and he certanly has the talent to be better haha
Totally agree! If only we had CMs who could play a 4-2-3-1… imagine a front line of Perisic-Ljajic-Eder and Mauro on top. A beauty and a beast! I was hoping Ausilio would bring a CM in January
I think K-dog is a perfect guy for that role. He can develop and play as good as Patrick Viera, unless Mancio gives him time and scrap his week-in-week-out logic.
4-3-1-2 more likely coz Ljajic very good in AMC.
This outdated formation is crap, without any width and beauty of football.
I’m just saying if using Ljajic and Eder this is the good formation. Besides Mancini still haven’t try this formation. CMIIW.
I hope we sell brozovic jovatic melo and k-dog next season think if we get benega soriano biglia yaya and lavezzi ,,,, mamma Mia
You would sell Jovetić but buy Lavezzi? Have you been watching Lavezzi lately?
Jovatic is a lazy player bro he doesn’t run can’t take on players waits for the ball we have enough of those kind icardi, look at the milan game ljajic is faster then Honda brozovic is faster then kuca prisic is faster then bventura but we r lazy the only player running was eder I prefer placio to jovatic he opens spaces with he’s runs, that’s why u can’t play icardi and jovatic together but lavezzi if he gets playing time.he will hunt the ball similar to placio
I’ve watched just a couple of games of PSG in the past year, but Lavezzi most of the time looked like he had 6 beers just before the game.
Lol! I haven’t seen him in PSG but he played quite good for Argentina in the qualifier against Brazil and scored. We have enough forwards though. We should focus on FBs after we get Banega and Soriano.
No Brozo.. we should buy Leandro Paredes from Empli/ As Roma. Young, high skill n talented
Those players you would like to sell are like 3 times better then those you would bring in (except Yaya, but he is too old).
Benega and biglia soriano and yaya are on another level I would choose them anytime what u telling me brozovic and melo kdog lol I don’t know what 2 say they r poor technically even medel is average….. borja Valero is up next he will destroy mindless players like the ones that we have ……pray lool
Sorry mate but looks like u spend too much time playing FIFA.
lavezzi is too old, not good enough AND too expensive. no way we get him; we don’t need him.
Eder-Icardi-Ljajic seems good.
Any player. Except melo n perisic :p
Perisic has had the best work rate so far and provides good cover for the defense IMO. It’s true he hasn’t shown the brilliance expected of him at the start of the season but then nobody has.
Totally agree – Perisic helps a lot out in defense and has so nice crossings too…
I allready wrote that Perisic needs time but he will be a big asset for us next season im sure..none of the players this season no matter if they just came or were here before played good constantly..
We have everything new, from players to the new owner and this is the first season that we have a clear aim and we invested in that objective and we are allready seeing improvement, next season when all new players get acostumed to Italy and new team we will certanly see more from not just Perisic but everyone in the team (except for Handa and Miranda, they are allready great lol)
True that! I just hope they don’t start selling if we fail to reach the CL
Better medel with murillo than JJ
Agree but the idea is to rest him, at least according to GDS. Inter has been playing 2 games a week lately
I see, i just lil worry cos were just find back our winning way again after difficult period.
Medel isn’t good enough in air. If Verona is starting with Pazzini and Toni he would be in trouble with the crosses
Will we give chance to Kondo again? I really hope he will be shine with playing regularly, so we don’t feel wasting money on him.
Never thought I would miss Kova this much :/
We had one sick midfield think about it . Kovacic, Hernanes, Brozovic, Guarin, Medel, Melo, Kondogbia , Gnoukouri . But yeah we needed they money so some had to go
I believe that with Kovacic we will be totally different team, for the better. I’m still not sure, that it’s was worthing to sell him and invest the money in Kondogbia, but he’s talented and hope that will prove me wrong.
Medel as CB
Gnou and brozo in midfield
What about a 4-2-3-1, with Adem behind Icardi and Perisic-Eder on the wings; cause Perisic is a better winger than Ljajic.
I rather see a 4-2-1-3 then.
Ahhh…Nostalgic Final Champion League Formation
We look bad with 2 mids, we need 3 for balance
Don’t mind it. I think if we are to go with 433 Eder-Icardi-Perisic/Ljajic is best starting lineup upfront. Palacio/Jojo use as subs.
Gnou instead Melo please…
I prefer Gnou in the place of Brozo.
that works too. but somehow I feel Melo’s existence is more vulnerable than Brozo. I would only let Melo in as sub if we lead with margin 2 goal to our opponent…
No, Melo is a fighter and he doesn’t panic under pressure like Brozo. His problem is that his fighting spirit gets a hold of him too much sometimes.
Brozo has played his best when there’s no pressure or when Inter had a solid lead. Like in the 4-0 win and the game after. So I’d rather start Melo/Medel and use Brozo as a sub to inject creativity and attacking edge.
But Melo a bit dangerous when we’re behind or when the score draw and we’re frustated can’t score or when the tension of match is high… Sometimes he just to overfed with his emotion… If he learn to control it and not do the same like against Lazio, I guess Melo is OK.
And I also hope he can play like in the first few game of the season, he’s been great that time, he can distribute the ball well like a ‘false’ regista. But lately I don’t know happened, it disappeared… Maybe because the opponent already know his ability and pressured him as soon as he gets the ball.
Good….if it isn’t broken don’t fix it
