After Inter’s match against Hellas Verona, Roberto Mancini spoke to Sky:
“These were two points that we threw away. Unfortunately we conceded on 3 set pieces. We conceded a similar goal to Milan’s against us. We need to improve on this at some point during the season. The team had not grit, and we did not pay enough attention. We played until the end, we lost some points, but maybe we can put a string of victories together. Melo? I took him off because it was a risk having him on the pitch. Felipe commited many fouls and I think he would have been sent off if I kept him on. We need to work on set pieces. Icardi? He is doing his job. Everyone played well but the result affected eveyone’s opinion.”

Mr Mancini you may not know this but: VERONA THREW AWAY 2 POINTS NOT INTER ! You may not remember but it was Verona who was winning 3-1 not Inter. You should be proud to get a point, your team worked its ass off against last place in Serie A to get that point 🙂
THREE THE SAME copy-paste goals ?!?!
anyone INTELLIGENT IN THE DEFENSE ?!?!
how about using a bit brain, just a bit of common sense … common tattooed, over-payed moron-“stars” !
NO Mancini, “These were two goals that we compensate and caught up with them … were you present at the match ?!?.
The bottom team scored 3 goals… u r a joke
This was the easy part of the fixtures by the way. Last 5 Serie A matches: Atalanta, Carpi, Milan, Chievo, Hellas. And we got 6/15 points. In the next 10 games, we are playing vs Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina and Juventus. And all except Napoli are on away ground. Even CL is starting to look more like a wish than a reality.
The only good news this week so far is fio and milan drew…we might need Roma to also stumble, but to hope other team loosing points like this worries me a lot, it’s the same feelings for the last 4 years.
set piece weakness was shown at derby milan, for alex’s goal. and that’s mancini fault about training.
Seriously???? It was Santon who, unfortunately, late to defend that situation.
Oh really??? Hahaha Maninci after how many rounds in Serie A finally sees how melo is a risk to have on the field…I guess it was his twin brother managing vs Lazio
very true about melo, but there are and some “other melos”… ;-((
Well I wouldn’t say any other player in the squad causes as much damage as melo both to inter and opposing teams…his mental game is seriously lacking…everyone else tries their best for the team even if they lack quality needed when in an inter shirt but melo is the only player who sets out to get himself sent off as soon as possible and it affects our gameplay as well
melo is BIG,BIG showcase of mancini’s small intelligence, level of expertise and mancini’s mentality.
Yes he is…after all Mancini was the one behind bringing Melo in the summer…but to his defense the other signings made has been spot on.Just a matter of man management with Melo…because he can be a really decent player if he’s not trying to kill someone.
if he’s not trying to kill someone … ahahahaha !
God help him !
