This berardi and sansone things will be the same as ljajic and jojo for icardi. They both loved to dribble, take defenders and instinctively prefer to shot than pass to the target man, thats why zaza (previously) or defrel now dont get that many goals as a target man.
Not only wingers can provide passes, midfileders can do that too, but we don’t have mids to do that.
