Gary Medel is not on the list of the untransferable players given by Inter president Erick Thohir and could leave in the summer according to Reporte Chile. The midfielder could return to Boca Juniors or he could stay in Serie A at Lazio if Inter receive a good offer.

if he could be used in any kind of a deal for Biglia that is a huge win… Medel is a hard working player, but he is not efficient at all. he is not even top 30 in Serie A regarding tackles and interceptions, the essentials of a DM

i don’t understand the hate for medel.. he’s not a player with flashy skill. but he’s one of the most consistent player in our team.. he’s doing his job really well.. as a DM, he always been the first player to protect our defence, and most of the time he did a great job.. some player need to do the dirty work for the team, and medel is the man.. and he rarely got a card for that.. if we need to sell him, we sell him. but you have to give credit for his contribution too, and he’s the player that never complain when he have to start from the bench(compare to some asshole that have a bad attitude)..
i agree wit almost everything you say, but i think we can (and need) play with more crativity player instead of medel…for dirty work we have kondogbia, or maybe i am wrong…but then i dont know for what we have kondog…he isn’t terquartista, isn’t regista, and for fuc… why we pay 30m for him?
k-dog is our box to box midfield, medel is our DM, what we lacking is a regista.. if we play with 3 CM, we will need a box to box midfield, a regista, and a pure DM like medel to create ballance in our midfield.. with medel there, it will make k-dog and our regista(hope we got one) can fokus more in attack… that’s what we lacking now, a regista..
if we play with a box to box and a regista you don’t need a DM. if you play like that you can’t control a match because the DM is walking in the way of the regista.
We need a regista who can pass the ball and defend decent, like Thiago Motta or Biglia, but hopefully younger.
we have the perfect box to box player in Kondogbia. he makes sure the balance is all right. he can defend pretty awesome but also nows to play on the opponents half. But you can’t expect a lot of goals and assist from him.
if you play with a DM next to the above mentioned players you miss creativity/assists/goals.
So we have Banega as a trequarista (CAM) to give our team the assists and goals we need to end in the CL spots.
Conclusion: we don’t need medel, so we can sell him for any price above 10 million. Lucky enough our management is smart enough to see this and will sell him
look, i’m not against selling medel. but TBH, medel still usefull for us if we play with 3 man midfield.. a pure DM always make a regista and a box to box players job easier.. because they have a DM to cover for them.. just like gattuso in Bbilan.. and medel can play as a CB when we need to..
could be nice to see him leaving but plz Melo should be fired first!

Medel is a player for a midtable team, who fights for points
He is not good enoug to be a playmaker in Inter, he will be great in a 3 man defense,
and we play with 4, so get rid of him, get 10mil, buy Soriano or Yaya
he is not a playmaker, and never been a playmaker though.. he’s a pure DM that can play as CB too.. he will be usefull for us.. but if we have to sell him, i hope we got a decent money. because he is our starting 11..

mancio will never play him as cb, because he said it many times he doesnt like short cb. maybe he forgot we had cordoba in the past.

Yupe consistency is what we are lack right now, many players play decent for sometime but after that they play like headless chicken, we need to get rid that kind of players
